I currently live in the Midwest and owned a house in Luxor PA. I contacted Vance Booher late 2014, when I had lost a renter and had decided to list my home for sale. Unhappy with my current real estate agent at the time, I contacted Vance based on the reputability of Howard Hanna (his company at the time) and the positive reviews found online. Having not met Vance, I exercised great trust in having him represent me in the sale of my house and the outcome was perfect. Vance assisted me in coordinating repairs and improvements in order to make the house flawless. He pointed out the important things that needed to be taken care of in order to make the house more marketable. Given the timing of the listing (late winter, early spring) and the location and style of the home, we were faced with the challenge of selling for the price I needed. Vance patiently worked with me and other agents to promote and market the house. Finally, after 3 months on the market, we got an offer and completed the sale. Throughout the process, Vance kept a realistic viewpoint and did not want to give me false hope. It was a great experience working with Vance Booher. He is worth the consideration for representation in the sale of your home.

We connected, but it did not work out. Looking in Loyalhanna, Latrobe, PA 15650

He set up an appointment to visit the property and never showed up and did not have the courtesy to call and cancel. We hired another real professional and she did a great job for us.

It is unfortunate that mistakes do happen. I did speak with Mr. Schlesinger on the phone and discussed his interests re his property but I have no record of having set an actual appointment. My notes indicate I was to do some research and re-contact him. Looking at my calendar & notes it is apparent I failed to do so. By the time I realized I had allowed it to fall through the cracks he had listed with another Agent and I could no longer ethically contact him directly. Clearly a mistake on my part - which unfortunately happens to us all occasionally. The key is to take responsibility and learn from it. I apologize to Mr. Schlesinger and congratulate him on his successfully getting a contract on his home. I wish him the best.

Bought a Single Family home in 2015 for approximately $225K in North Huntingdon, PA.

Vance was incredible from start to finish. He always went above and beyond to make sure things went as smoothly as possible. He is very detail oriented and his knowledge of the real estate industry is second to none. I would recommend him to anyone and if I were to ever need to move again he would be the first person that I called.  More Less
