Bought a Vacant Land home in 2013 for approximately $150K in Springfield, VT.
Working with Doug Bejarano is a true pleasure. He is personable, knowledgeable, and if there is something he is not knowing about, he finds out promptly and lets you know. He knows the area well, and relates well to what the clients needs and wants may be. He is excellent at fitting the property to the client's criteria. His knowledge of design and construction, as well as local contacts is invaluable. I can't recommend Doug highly enough, especiallly if it involves knowledge of horse properties, trails and activities.
Doug was a pleasure to work with. He was endlessly patient with us and really listened to what we did and didn't like on the way to finding us a good fit.
He helped us sort through the pros and cons of various options (at the beginning of our search, we were really torn between buying raw land and building vs. buying a finished house. We ended up buying a house that needs a lot done to it, so we're getting the advantages of both. That wasn't even in our minds as an option at the outset).
He was always good-natured and dependable throughout our search, which lasted for a long time.
Sold a Single Family home in 2011 for approximately $200K in Windsor, VT.
We had a lot of issues come up that were overwhelming to us and Doug stayed on top of everything working them all out. I know he spent a tremendous amount of time negotiating and correcting details that came up. He kept things moving in the right direction and I know that wasn't easy at times. He has an endless amount of energy and a great personality that is contagious. He made a stressful process much easier because we knew he would have a solution for what ever went wrong and fix it. Doug exceeded my expectations in all areas-he went out of his way to be available at all times when were discussing our purchase and in addition brings to the table his expertise as a builder which I found incredibly helpful when viewing and considering the purchase property. Lastly, and perhaps most importantly, he was a pleasure to work with as a person, always upbeat and knowledgeable. I would most certainly recommend him.
