06/18/2013 - user36733277Sold a Single Family home in 2013 for approximately $475K in Otay Ranch Village 5, Chula Vista, CA.
We can not recommend Valerie highly enough. She is an exceptional professional and we can't imagine that any agent could've taken better care of us or our interests. Her guidance throughout the process of selling our home was invaluable and yielded results (profit) well beyond our expectations. The greatest risk you will face if you use Valerie Ziegenfuss as your agent is that she just may ruin you for other real estate agents. As we begin the search for a new home in a different state, we keep looking at each other and saying "We miss Valerie". Choose Valerie--she'll make you feel like you're selling a million dollar home!

5 STAR AGENT HANDS DOWN!!! I've bought two homes with her help- one in 2008 and again 2012! My second home is a RARE SINGLE STORY home-- I couldn't have done without Valerie's help!!
Valerie (Val) is honest, patient, efficient, flexible, resourceful, fair, expert communicator (listening, talking, writing, and IPAD skills), detailed, compassionate, personable and by far the most knowledgeable agent with the QUICKEST turn around time on contracts I've ever seen!! This is certainly a BIG plus given the current sellers market-- and inventory going so quick with the low interest rates!
She is readily available to search for your dream home and she makes it a point to only email you homes that are within your price range and your particular likes!! We searched for over a year for the perfect single story home and Val stayed persistent and consistent the entire year--- resulting in us being able to purchase the perfect home for our family!
I've already referred her to two others and will continue to refer her to ANYONE looking for a home. It doesn't matter if you're max is 100K or 1 MILLION $$-- you can expect Val to treat you with the same professional and courteous customer service regardless!! Have fun home shopping and relax-- your in good hands with Valerie!

Valerie helped us find the perfect home. We had one month to purchase and move into a home in San Diego relocating from Northern California. She took us house hunting for two consecutive days and was kind and patient with us and our two daughters (two and five years of age). Once we found the house we wanted she used her excellent negotiation skills to get us a good price and helped us every step a long the way to move in by the planned date. I will definitely be calling her for future home purchases. I highly recommend her.

10/02/2012 - user1957066Bought a Single Family home in 2012 for approximately $450K in Lakeside, CA.
Valerie Ziegenfuss was our agent when we purchased our house in Lakeside, CA. She was diligent in finding exactly what we were looking for, she was on top of new listings and available for showings daily. She honestly made us feel like we were her only clients, when we knew she had many.
When we closed on our house and ran into some "post-closing bumps in the road," instead of having the "my job is done here" attitude, Valerie has stood beside us through it all. She continues to work with us to try to resolve some of the issues we face post-closing. She is sensitive to the stress it has caused us and fierce in wanting to making things "right" for us.
I would highly recommend Valerie as an agent. She is the height of professionalism, has a wonderful sense of humor (which comes in handy when facing the stresses of buying or selling a home), she cares about her clients and is firm but fair.
Valerie is a Century21 Award gem.

Valerie made me feel like I wasn't just a client. I always felt that she had my best interests at heart and not just the bottom line. She made great recommendations throughout the whole process that all served my best interests. If I were ever to be in the market again, she is the only person I would turn to.

09/27/2012 - CassieKatlynBought a Condo home in 2012 for approximately $225K in North Park, San Diego, CA.
I purchased a condo in University Heights this past May with the help and expertise of Val. If it weren't for her, I wouldn't be in my wonderful new home. Through years of experience and building relationships with others in the field she was able to score me a highly sought after place with multiple offers on the table below asking price and with closing costs covered! She was very patient and helpful throughout our whole search period, even checking places out while I was at work to make sure they were worth me going to see. She is a wonderful, skilled realtor who will have your back and negotiate for you with a strong hand and a smile on her face. :)
