Purchasing my first home while residing out of state was a daunting prospect, but Annette made the process simple. She was quickly able to identify my key housing desires and create a list of appropriate possibilities. With only two days in the area to view homes, Annette made herself available and kept our list concise- her insight into the local area is profound. From the nerve-racking time waiting to hear whether my offer was accepted to the e-mail from the bank saying we were all clear and the house is mine, Annette was there. With clear and timely communication, she streamlined the buying process, arranging all inspections in a timely manner and ensuring required repairs were completed before closing. It is my pleasure to wholeheartedly recommend Annette Sievert for your home purchasing needs.

I can honestly say that without Annette's knowledge we would have not been able to sell our previous home and buy our new house..... On top of that it is crucial to mention that she was not the selling agent of our previous house, but nonetheless it did not matter to her, what mattered were WE as family and helping us. Her knowledge, communication and organization is excellent. We felt safe thruout the whole process. To buy a house with Annette is like a walk in the park. She knows up front what to look for and solve what could possibly become a problem. She has fantastic people skills and offers what is needed......in our case holding a hand here or there :) Never have to wait for her to return a phone call, because 99% of the time she picks up her phone even if just to let you know that she has to return your call to have more time for you. Annette is the best realtor I came ever across and very much a fun human to spend time with. We give her all the STARS possible! For her patience, humanity, humor and knowledge. It was an absolute pleasure...... Tell Annette what you need, and she'll make it happen! We cannot thank her enough for being available at all times and making our dream come true!
Annette is the best Buyer's Agent with whom I have ever worked! She is extremely knowledgeable about construction practices (which is quite helpful in pre-screening homes of interest), engaging with her clients, a careful listener, a dedicated and hard worker (which is part of what makes her such a great Buyer's Agent), and very forthright in her approach. My husband and I felt immediately that we could trust her to look out for our best interests. She is a rare gem in the industry, and a true pleasure with whom to work. While we were not able to find what we were looking for at this time, we would gladly work with her again in the future.

Our real estate journey with Annette started 4 years ago. We met at an open house. I quickly explained to Annette that we were new in the area and that we were not in a position to purchase anything yet. Just wanted to get to know Corvallis. That being said, she never hassled us, in fact her motto was, "I'm here for you when you need me". During these 4 years of searching, Annette was always available to show us any homes we were interested in. She knows real estate and she knows the area. She's out for YOUR best interest, it is NOT about her selling a home. While the buyer may go in with rose-colored glasses, she is practical and realistic and she will point things out to you that could be a potential problem down the road.
I don't know how many realtors would stay with you for so long and put up with picky buyers like us, but Annette did and she will for you too.
She quickly responds to emails, texts, phone calls, you name it. She is all about you. She makes you feel like you are the only clients she has.
If you're looking for a professional who knows her business, is a great negotiator, attentive to you and your must haves then Annette is the realtor for you.
Sold a Single Family home in 2014 for approximately $300K in Corvallis, OR.
Annette was AMAZING! I had the unfortunate experience of having to sell my late brother's home. I had contacted another realtor before I found Annette and was sadly disappointed. The other realtor put a sign in the yard and a small ad in the local realtor's catalog and called it good. The house was on the market for 8 months with no offers. After fighting to be let out of the contract with the first realtor, I found Annette on Zillow. She came very highly recommended so I gave her a call with the intentions of talking to multiple realtors before signing another contract. After 30 minutes with Annette, I knew she could get the job done and that she was passionate about selling homes. From the beginning, she knew exactly what we needed to do to sell the house. She knew the market; what needed to be done to the house to attract buyers; and had the people available to get the work done. She produced a marketing plan and stuck to that marketing plan. Before the house was listed for a week, she had a full price offer. She worked hard for us and made sure that everything was progressing every step of the way. You will not be disappointed if you contact Annette. I certainly was not. Thank you Annette!

From our very first meeting to the closing of our sale, we found Annette to be an absolutely exceptional professional to work with in all possible ways. She was warm, direct, available, responsive, and always available with advice, support, action and follow-through whenever needed. Her advice about pricing and preparation of our home, in combination with her hard work and top-quality advertising stragegies (including the quality of photos to flyers) resulted in a speedy and smooth sale of our home at a price we were very happy with. She was no less than a joy to work with in all respects, and we cannot recommend her more highly!

Annette Sievert made a real difference as to the fast smooth sale of our home. From crossing the threshold she had us under contract in less than 2 hours. We put our trust in her & she communicated each part of the process as we accomplished this sale "Done" in about 3 weeks! Pretty amazing on so many levels.

Annette used her personal network to find me an off-market property, which I purchased below the price of comparable properties, in a considerably efficient manner.
A friend had worked with Annette and insisted I contact and meet with her during my search for a realtor. I had been told that the Corvallis market is notoriously competitive, which can be intimidating for a first time buyer. Additionally, a number of my fellow "first time buyer" colleagues had told tales of expensive bidding wars, realtors who are more interested in their fees than cost-benefit for their buyers, etc. I resolved to be a wary buyer.
I closed on my first home yesterday - less than 3 months after I started working with Annette. Annette was very professional and caring. She was also tactfully direct. In my experience in the PCNW, these are very rare qualities, which I really appreciated given the nature of this investment. As wary as I resolved to remain through this process, I had little in-depth knowledge about real estate in Corvallis.
My colleague had described Annette as tenacious in her quest to get her clients a great deal. This was especially true in my case. Annette found potential homes in the initial stages of the search that (a) allowed me test her understanding of my vision for a home, (b) provided good insights into her ability to judge property value and make recommendations based on required post purchase investments (finances, time, etc,) and that (c) her bidding/offer recommendations were usually accurate. As the wary buyer, I decided to trust her accuracy after being outbid on the second home. Following the initial search and the number of multi-bid sales, I decided the Corvallis market was too competitive and that I needed to regroup for a few months.
Annette promised to keep looking.
Annette used her personal network to find me an off-market property. We were in contract 24 hours after the seller contacted her. It was never listed, which reduced the sales price and allayed fears of a bidding war (a concern I had expressed to Annette with previous offer attempts). Beyond the convenience of the transaction, I was impressed that Annette judged the location, style, etc to suit my tastes - she had listened and remembered my comments on other homes, although I don't recall a notepad during any of our conversations! I needed to be out of town intermittently through the purchase process. Annette liaised with loan officers, the inspector, title company, etc. She made my first home purchase fairly straightforward.
I appreciate Annette's commitment to an ongoing relationship with her clients, especially first time buyers. She was attentive during the search and purchase, and has offered to serve as a "future value" consultant should I decide to make value impacting changes to the home.
She's tenacious (in a good way). I look forward to working with her again.

I have purchased and sold quite a number of properties over the past 30 years in several markets and I would have to say that in general I am not a big fan of most realtors. Annette was a very pleasant exception. She was efficient and direct with both us and the sellers in our transaction - resulting in our seamless purchase of a perfect home for us at well below market comps. Thank you Annette.
