We had been told by a bank and another mortgage broker that a refi wasn't an option for us given the amount owed on our home vs. it's current value. We wanted to take advantage of these historically low rates to refinance to a 15 year note and Patrick and his team made it happen when others couldn't. They were always professional, responsive and helpful. I have already recommended them to several friends and will continue to do so. Our experience was great.

I had a very pleasant experience with VanKeef. The whole process was extremely efficient and painless. I especially appreciated working very closely with Patrick and his team to efficiently assist me with my refinancing. They are very responsive via email and phone. Their document review process is very efficient and I like how I could see the status of each step and document review in my online account as the process progressed. They always provide very good rates and there is no bait and switch between what is advertised on their site and what you actually get. I highly recommend and would definitely choose them again.

My first attempt at refinancing my mortgage by going directly to the bank was an absolute disaster. One hand never seemed to know what the other was doing with the bank. I would get different good faith estimates from different bank employees almost daily. I ended up scrapping the entire effort to try to attempt a restart.
My restart effort took a dramatic turn in the right direction after looking over reviews for mortgage brokers on zillow. Patrick V. and his team (of only one or two people I think) operate in Florida and know the landscape (which is terrible). Patrick and his team were very responsive and guided the entire effort from start to finish. I've referred several friends to Vankeef Financial though I'm not sure how many have taken the advice. I'll continue to refer to Patrick and if 30 yr interest rates fall below 2.5% I may be calling Patrick to refi again.

Patrick and his team worked hard for us and lowered our interest rate from what our pre-approval rate was by .5%! Took 38 days to close but other than the underwriters, our experience with Patrick was great. We would definitely recommend him to friends and family.
