I really do not know how to express my deep appreciation for all the work and extra effort that Vanessa Charfen put into selling a Condo that we had in San Diego. Unfortunately, my son was killed in a motorcycle accident and a Executor of his estate, I had to sell the property. I was fortunate to meet my son’s neighbor, Larry Murry, who used to work for Team Aguilar Realty who recommended Vanessa. It was ironic because Vanessa was the agent who originally sold the property to my son. Vanessa pointed out that there were some items that needed to be fixed and/or installed in the Condo before it could be sold. Since I lived about 150 miles from the property, Vanessa took it upon herself to make the arrangements for all the work to be completed in a timely manner. This effort involved contacting at least 2 contractors, negotiating the contract and overseeing that the work was complete. She not only save me several hundred dollars on the work but several trips down to San Diego. Although we had a professional appraiser come in to appraise the Condo, it was very apparent that Vanessa knew more about the area and the value of the property than the appraiser. Vanessa suggested that we try to sell the Condo for almost $30,000.00 more than the appraiser had estimated the value. To make a long story short, we sold the Condo very quickly at the price Vanessa had suggested. I do not think that there are many realtors around who all the way through the preparation and sale of the Condo would have been as understanding, courteous, professional, and have the excellent knowledge of the real estate market in the area like Vanessa. I really do not know what we would have done without Vanessa’s professional help with the sale. Three cheers…no, make it 4 cheers for Vanessa.
