How do I find out how much my house is worth?

Answer

The most accurate way to determine the value of your home is to have a Realtor come into your home and do a comparative market evaluation.  You may want to talk to a few Realtors to accurately assess the market.  Another option is to hire a licensed appraiser.  There is also information right here on Zillow that can help you come up with a rough estimate of what your home is worth.

Getting Pre-Approved while selling current home

Answer

You may want to talk with your lender about what you anticipate selling your home for and what your proceeds will be from the sale.  They will give you a better idea of what you may be approved for.

What do I do first to list my house on zillow

Answer

You can do a couple of things:1. You can list it with a REALTOR and it would be put into the multiple listing service and Zillow would pick it up from there.2. You can create an account on Zillow and post there.I hope this helps!

I would liketo sell my house but am underwater with a second mortgage. Can I sell it?

Answer

It is absolutely possible for you to sell your home.  Take into consideration a few things: 1. If you can prove hardship for reason to sell to your lender then you would have the possibility of a short sale.2. You could list at fair market value and the sale would be subject to 3rd party approval.3. Speak to an accountant to find out what your tax implications would be on this and always ask a professional for advice before moving forward![Hotlinks removed by Zillow moderator.
