I have been a full-time Realtor since 1991.  I specialize in selling luxury single family, town home and condominiums in and around Aspen.

Shane Aspen Real Estate represents the culmination of a twenty five year work journey. I have worked and trained at the other top real estate offices in Aspen and practiced as an attorney in New York, California and Colorado. I established myself as the leading broker in the valley, selling more real estate individually than most offices did together. My concentration, for years, was working with developers representing preconstruction sales. In that role I sold hundreds of high end homes, condos and town homes before they ever were built. My "close to contract" ratio was 99%. I still represent and work with the developers, builders and homeowners from that period of my career. I consider it an honor to continue those relationships as I move forward developing new relationships today and in the future.

I list and sell approximately 100 properties every year. My listings are located throughout the Roaring Fork Valley, including Aspen, Snowmass, Basalt, Carbondale and Glenwood Springs. I currently concentrate on the Aspen luxury market. Sold a home in 2014.

Wendy and her whole team at Shane Aspen Real Estate were great. They made the process of selling my property fast and simple, from the initial listing agreement to my recent closing they could not have been more helpful . I'm very busy and live in Connecticut so I was very grateful for their effort at staying on top of the whole process and keeping me informed along the way. I met Wendy one day in the late winter a couple of years back when I strolled into her downtown Aspen office inquiring about properties and was impressed by her friendliness and frankness about the market  More Less

Bought a Condo home in 2012 for approximately $425K in Carbondale, CO.

We retained Wendy and Richard to help us purchase a bank-owned property. They did an excellent job with the difficult task of making sure the bank owner stayed on track and got the deal closed in a reasonable period of time. Bought a Single Family home in 2014 for approximately $375K in Carbondale, CO.

My partner, Alan and I have purchased two homes in the last 4 years with the help of Wendy Lucas and Richard Duddy. They are the only Realtors we would consider using. We are convinced we would never have been able to complete either purchase especially for the price we were able to obtain, unless they had been involved. Wendy is an attorney and has answers to the most sticky contract negotiations and Richard is an unbeatable (and subtle) negotiator.
