Ratings & Reviews

Wey helped my husband and I sell our home and purchase a new home in a period of about six months. He patiently walked us through every step of the process. We've spoken with a number of realtors in the past, and Wey McLeod is exactly what we were looking for in a realtor. First and foremost, he's honest and principle-driven. I feel confident that every decision he made was with our best interest first and foremost. He repeatedly gave us excellent advice that helped us get the most value for the home that we sold as well as the home that we purchased. He has a substantial network of peers and colleagues that he used to complement his skills and abilities and he also came highly recommended from another real estate agent we worked with in years past. For our home sale, Wey started working with us as soon as we made the decision to sell our house. He gave us great advice on what to prioritize to get our home ready, he helped us create an optimal timeline, and he even assisted us in getting contractors to come out and give us quotes for work where we needed assistance. When Wey saw a potential to earn us more money on our home, he went to city hall and spoke with a few contacts he had there to help us make a determination about what was in our best interest. Wey regularly went out of his way and leveraged new resources to make the process less stressful for us and maximize the value of our property. When it comes to selling a home, you have to make decisions about the work you do to make it attractive and sellable and what quality of work you do or have done. Wey consistently advised us to do what was best for the future homeowner and helped us get our home in phenomenal condition. Wey is not a "put a coat of paint on it and no one will know" kind of realtor, he's a "let me help you get some quotes from quality contractors to get this work done right for the future homeowners, and then convert that excellent workmanship into a higher closing price" kind of realtor. There were numerous times when Wey's advice was clearly based on a desire to do the right thing, and that was *very* refreshing. And because Wey helped us every step of the way, our home was in great condition when it came time to put in on the market, and we had an offer within two days. There's a lot that I could say about the excellent work Wey did on the sale, but what you should know is that he's an exceptional negotiator and a great realtor. We received full asking price on the home and both parties left the process completely happy. For our home purchase, Wey was patient and attentive as we visited over thirty houses looking for the perfect home. In all of that time was always positive, energetic, and willing to put in extensive time to research and advocate on our behalf. While I know he was helping other clients, we always felt like his top priority. When we were hours away from putting in an offer on a home that we liked (but didn’t love), Wey sensed that we weren’t completely happy and urged us to make an impromptu trip to another house we’d seen pop on the market the night before. Despite us having already kept him out far later than we’d planned, he made a number of phone calls and was able to get us into the home. It was love at first sight and even now, as I write this review in our house a month after we moved in, words can’t express how grateful I am that Wey made the selfless decision to urge us to look at just one more home. What makes Wey's exceptional support all the more amazing is that our home sale and purchase were both low- to middle-sales price homes at best. Wey wasn't giving us all of this time and attention because we were some golden paycheck, he was doing it because he's a great person and an exceptional professional. And he did *so* much more for us than I could write here. Do yourself a favor and invite him over for an introduction. The one piece of advice I’ll give you is that the Wey you meet on day one is the Wey you’re going to have by your side weeks or months later. So if you find him as likeable and as trustworthy as we did, just rest assured that it’s not too good to be true.
