I just started this thread to see who have a greater chance of regretting.Because I for one, I has a past experience of sorely regretting about not buying a house. It just seems to put more psychological 'what could have been' thoughts on you. On the other hand, I am now a home owner. Although the value of my home has also depreciated by 15%, it doesn't really affect me at all. I am still over-joyed about it as much as ever. I still feel today that it was the best decision I have ever made. How about you guys? Does anyone here have a personal experience you would like to share with us?
Phantom bidders are rare in case you didn't know. There is a very great risk for being involved as a Phantom bidder and not many people would take that kind of risk.
Good to hear that not all the markets are in a housing slump. Hopefully other cities will follow and go back to same old business as usual. But I am skeptical of as to whether Seattle will be the last bubble to pop out of the housing bubble. I do see a very similar trend that happened with other cities. I think it would be wise not to have appreciation in house prices for the time being. Otherwise this is just another bubble just swelling up and ready to pop.
Hmm yeah , those numbers are remarkable. Kind of makes me wonder, what would have been if I have moved to LA four years back when I had the chance. I could have made a killing in commissions.
