Bought a Single Family home in 2014 in Mount Vernon, WA.
We cannot say enough nice things about both ladies. Kirsten took us out on our first home tour & Kenzie took us out on the next 3. They really did have our best interest at heart and were upfront and honest during the whole process. I've heard that buying a home can be stressful but that doesn't describe my experience at all. Most of my questions were answered before I ever needed to ask them. I knew exactly what was happening and what the next step would be before it happened. We will definitely be using them again for our next home purchase and sale as well as referring everyone we know their way!
Bought a Condo home in 2013 for approximately $250K in Renton, WA.
Kirsten, helped us buy our first home. We will definitely return to Kirsten for our next sale/purchase of a home. She was extremely knowledgeable and experienced in real estate sales in our area. She provided us with fair guidance for our investment and always kept our best interests in mind.
Bought a Single Family home in 2014 for approximately $550K in Bothell, WA.
My husband and I used Kirsten Carlson when purchasing our first home. We loved working with her and she made the process fun, enjoyable and seamless for us.
Since my husband and I are big planners we actually started conversations with Kirsten months before we wanted to buy a house. Kirsten sat down with us to learn about us as a couple, what each of our important things in a house are and what are any deal breakers. Right of the bat we told her we were looking to buy a house about 5 months from then, she was excited and ready to help us answer some important questions to find the best house for us. Over the next couple of months we had some tasks such as driving around areas on the East Side to see where we would be interested in living, then attending a few open houses and providing feedback on lists of homes that she provided us. The whole time she was communicating with us and bouncing ideas off of us for things to look at. Through this process she helped my husband and I find common ground on exactly what we were looking for and where we could flex a bit.
When we needed her, she was always available to give us a call or meet in person. There are two instances that stand out to me.
Once when I feel in love with a house and Kirsten politely reminded us that we were well ahead of when we wanted to be buying a house. Kirsten said that we can put in an offer, but it would be moving our timeline up and she wanted to make sure we were okay with that.
Second was when we found a house my husband loved on her birthday weekend, she gave us a call back and said she would do a drive by and viewing of the home first thing then next morning (since we called her late on a Sunday). After seeing the home, Kirsten told us her honest opinion in a respectful manner, saying she loved the home on the inside and saw what we saw but that it wouldn't be a good investment. She gave us the facts to what makes a good investment and where she was concerned with this property(nicest house in several blocks, mobile homes, and it didn't fit half of our needs list). Kirsten did say if we still wanted to go through with putting in an offer, she would do it. My husband and I loved how honest she was with her feedback and after hearing the points we didn't put an offer in. But she gave us the facts and let us make the decision. Believe me we have thanked her about this many times!
When we were out looking at homes with her one day, she said she had a house that just came on the market late the night before that met everything we wanted that she was going to show us. She was SO right! We walked into the home and barely made it through the door before my husband said, this is it and I was just stunned. It was the perfect house, it had everything and more than we could have ever thought of for a first home. From that point Kirsten made it a point to negotiate and get us our home. She helped us make a competitive offer that shined during our escalation clauses. Kirsten called the sellers realtor for updates and provided us insights along the way. Once we got the house, Kirsten made sure everything was in lock step from escrow, inspection, move out time of sellers to key transfer. It was perfect and we couldn't have asked for a better first home buying experience. She still checks in during your first few months in a home, just to make sure everything is good.
Kirsten is amazing, talented, caring and her clients are her priority. We felt as if we were the only ones she was working with, even though we knew the market was crazy and she was having many late nights with all the sales going on. We highly recommend using Kirsten for your home buying experience! The friends that we have recommended use her, have also come back with glowing remarks. You will be in the best care and will have a great home buying experience when working with Kirsten!
Bought a Condo home in 2008 in Ballard, Seattle, WA.
Bought a Ballard cottage with Kenzie Kipper. She is incredibly knowledgeable, picked up quickly on what I was looking for and didn't waste my time. She did a great job of representing my interests, is very thorough, responsive, and delightful. She went above and beyond when the seller got difficult.
Bought a Single Family home in 2012 for approximately $250K in Glencoe, Renton, WA.
I highly recommend Kenzie for any real estate purchase. She found the home of our dreams and walked us through the whole process of buying our first home. She is very detail oriented and have endless amounts of real estate knowledge! Kenzie was always quick to respond to the numerous questions we had along the way. Without her we would not have found this house and gotten through the mortgage process without her assistance!
When we're in the market for our next home, we will be calling her again!

I want to let everybody know what a great experience I had with Kirsten and her team. They went above and beyond at every step in the process; always upbeat and positive, and always with the utmost professionalism. They helped me sort through the many choices always keeping the focus on quality, value and location. They stayed in close contact with me through the entire process, even after I moved into my condo, just to make sure everything was okay and to see if I needed anything. Do not hesitate to work with Kirsten and Co. They are the best!
I want people to know that this team can truly help you no matter what your situation may be. They handle their business with absolute conviction and professionalism. I have never worked and had the pleasure to work with such a motivated group of people who seam to really care about you and your concerns. They have truly made a difference in my life and I will never forget what they have done for me. Thank you Kirsten and Kenzie and your team! I can't forget Raina! You Rock!
On top of the process from beginning to end with upfront, detailed explanations of all the steps. Great followup with prospective buyers getting them all information they needed and keeping my property in front of them. Will recommend them to everyone I know. Austin Matson
Bought a Single Family home in 2008 for approximately $325K in Monroe, WA.
I would always recommend Kirsten Carlson. I started looking for a house in early 2008 and picked Kirsten as my realtor. Every experience I had with her was nothing short of wonderful. She went out of her way to make sure I got the house I wanted. When the seller started waffling and wanting to back out, she made every effort possible to keep it going. She worked with the finance, the sellers, and me to make sure everything clicked perfectly. When the seller started “denying” agreements they made, Kirsten made sure that they were kept as much as possible, even sacrificing her financial gain to make sure I was happy and got the house I wanted. She made sure that all the inspection work got done. She even managed to make it work when the sellers were not ready by the agreed upon timeline.
After purchasing my house through Kirsten, I would and have recommended her to my friends as the entire experience was not only easy, but fun with her. With Kirsten, I started out with a realtor, bought a house, and ended up with a friend.
I whole-heartedly recommend Kirsten to ANYONE who is looking to buy or even sell a house.
Since the first time I spoke with Kenzie and Jeff at YourLifestyleTeam, they seemed to be very personable. There wasn't an instance when they didn't either answer their phones within a couple rings, or called me back in an extremely prompt period of time. Any question I have asked, regardless of the level of intelligence - and believe me, there were many that qualified as below average - was answered with great detail and knowledge. The process of buying a home was extremely smooth for me, due to them and I would not recommend anybody else to someone looking for a home within the Seatlle-metro area. If you want great service, from some great people, look no further and give them a call. :)
