When I heard that the rates were at historic lows, I decided I needed to refinance. I braced myself for the endless callbacks, requests for information, credit checks, and other challenges associated with doing a refinance. In doing a previous refinance several years ago, I found that after I was "locked in" that the loan officer "checked out" and would not return my calls as time dragged on. I was was not looking forward to a repeat. I searched the Internet and brick and mortar shops and found the best price I could find with what I thought was a reputable lender and started down the path of locking in a loan when I found William on Zillow. I sent him a quick e-mail asking for a quote on my refinance and within minutes, I had received a response. His rate and fees beat all the other places I had been looking--by a substantial amount. I wondered if he could really deliver. When the time extended past the original lock period I got a little worried and prepared for the worst. William assured me that it was because of the backlog and continued to work with me. My refinance went through a few days ago--at a rate I'll probably not see again in my lifetime. Unlike my previous refinance, William was very responsive to my questions and was sure to keep me updated. I will definitely work with William again!
