Bought a Single Family home in 2011 for approximately $350K in Patterson, NY.
New to the area, my husband and I were scouting possible homes to get a sense of where we wanted to reside and our disappointment grew as we saw homes that didn't fit our needs and desires. Recognizing our frustration, Anne suggested we stop to eat. Over lunch we poured through more listings and agreed to look at one more home before we ended the day's search. As we drove down the driveway, my husband said, "This is what we're looking for." Our posture moved from merely looking to actively pursuing this home. With Anne's guidance we were able to construct an innovative and creative offer that was stress free and mutually agreeable to us and to the sellers.Three years later we couldn't be happier and although Anne encouraged us too view more homes, she knew from the start that this was the one for us.
Bought a Single Family home in 2013 for approximately $275K in Yorktown Heights, NY.
Anne is the best there is; hands down. She made the journey of finding a new home better than we ever expected. Her expertise and knowledge of the areas, schools, neighborhoods and real estate insight is top-notch. Our journey was not easy but she was patient, yet resilient, in finding us the perfect home. She is a great person who always has smile on her face and is ready to face any challenge. She is very easy to get in contact with either by phone or email. Even after we moved into our home, she was there with answers, contacts and phone numbers. We cannot thank her enough and would highly recommend her.
Bought a Single Family home in 2013 for approximately $500K in Putnam Valley, NY.
We walked into a Coldwell-Banker with absolutely no prior experience buying a home (this was our first). Anne happened to be available and we were immediately impressed by how she listened to us and just showed us some properties online at first to get a good feel for what we were looking for. The properties she took us to see were all possibilities-i.e., there weren't any that were completely wrong for us, so we felt that she had listened and wasn't just trying to push random houses on us, wasting our time. She was also good about mentioning both pluses and minuses about each property-for example, we saw one house that was great in and of itself, but Anne pointed out the access to it was likely to be a problem if there is snow. She was also extremely reachable during our negotiation process and talked us down from the ledge when the seller's agent blew some smoke about an additional offer on the house we wanted. As first time buyers and general worrywarts, my husband and I needed that! Finally, the house we bought needed some renovation and Anne was great at providing contact information for a variety of contractors. Since we had no experience with hiring contractors, never having owned before, we were wary about just who to hire and how to go about selecting them.
