I work for the #1 Office in Blair County (Coldwell Banker Town and Country).  With our local Association(known as Allegheny Highland  spanning into areas of Bedford, Cambria, and even some Huntingdon county) we have approximately 300 agents at any given time.  I am proud to be in the top 3% for Sales production for the last 4 yrs running in the association.
I became one of  Coldwell Banker Town and Country's Top Agents since 2011.  . With over 30yrs experience in sales, and also training sales, gave me a jump start in this industry.   Other helpful advantages are due to my investment properties I acquired throughout the years.  13 rental units and a half a dozen properties that I flipped.  
    After years of working on my own properties and helping my sellers get their home ready for sale.  I acquired my contractors license.  I have some great reliable resources for just about every aspect of the remodeling industry, and I have a very reliable small crew of guys i keep busy.  Knowing how expensive it can be to get your home ready for sale is probably the reason most people don't.  Knowing some good tricks of the trade and great ideas... gives me a great way to help my sellers get what needs done at a fairly low cost.  A helpful advantage to my buyers is sometimes getting the last minute bank required repairs done quickly.
    I truly believe that everyone who does this type of business should always be on top of their game gaining as much knowledge as possible. Continuing your Real Estate Education, and taking a "hands on approach" to every detail can help you gain that knowledge you need in this business. Whether its assisting and coordinating the finance, working with the inspectors, coodinating bids, commicating and helping the closing office, it will keep your home sale in check to prevent them from falling apart.    Your home is your biggest asset, it should be in hands of confidence!   Selling over 50 sales a year, I have seen so many snags.  However, an experienced and knowledgable agent can overcome and keep a home sale together clear to closing instead of it falling apart disappointing everyone.

My other great passion are my kids.   With one grown and on her own, it leaves me wanting to be there and spending time being a good father so they can turn out just as good as their big sister.
They are 14 and 15 and give me great inspiration.   When I not with a client, I try to be with them.   It seems the one thing we all have in common is we all love competitive sports. Family time is so important and it nice to see many other families just starting out with excitement on the way to their next new home!

John took the time to show us many homes in the area and was very responsive. However, when we finally decided on a home to purchase, he was not responsive to calls and emails. At closing, we were owed $1,000.00 but John did not have the check prepared for us. It took two weeks of constant calling to finally get the check.

Sold a Single Family home in 2014 in Altoona, PA.

BEST IN THE BUSINESS!

We had our home on the market for an entire year with another realtor prior to enlisting John's help. John guided us through some minor updating of the home. He was very knowledgeable about what updates were necessary to sell, what buyers were looking for, and what would give us the biggest bang for our limited budget (paint, kitchen knobs, light fixtures, other small things that made a huge difference in how the property showed). He helped us complete many of the updates himself. We were painting at 10pm and he was painting right with us. He kept us updated after each showing and provided us with feedback from buyers and realtors within a day of their scheduled showing time. His attention was divided among many listings, but he always managed to make us feel like a priority. I will never hire any other realtor!  More Less

Bought a Single Family home in 2014 for approximately $350K in Hollidaysburg, PA.

John went above and beyond to help us find a home. We looked at numerous houses and he was very helpful in giving insight on how we could change things we might not have liked. John is very knowledgeable when it comes to fixing and or changing things in a house. I contact him to this day when I have a question or need something fixed at our house and he helps in anyway he can or puts me in touch with someone who will. In my opinion John is the Best and goes out of his way to help his clients.  More Less
