About Andrew Stone
I like to walk, I like to ride my bike, I like to join the gallery strolls, dine at neighborhood restaurants, shop at the neighborhood produce stands and pick up my paper from the corner market. To do all of these things, my family makes our home in the Downtown Salt Lake City Neighborhood of East Liberty/Sugarhouse. When we take time off we enjoy traveling throughout Utah, The United States, Europe and Asia.
My Client-First Philosophy
There are many qualities and skills that go into being an excellent real estate professional – integrity, in-depth community and market knowledge, marketing savvy, effective negotiation skills and a high-quality professional network, all of which are hallmarks of how I work. That said, in my experience as a Salt Lake City real estate professional, I've also found that providing the very best service is essentially about putting my clients first. This means keeping myself accessible, being a good listener as well as a good communicator, and responding quickly to your needs. This "client first" philosophy has always been my approach and it requires me to continually improve my skills and ways of doing business. In addition, I've found that the latest technologies are enabling me to do everything I've always done, only much more quickly and efficiently. They've also helped me to extend the range of services I provide to my clients. So when you decide that you'd like to buy or sell a home in the Salt Lake City areas, please contact me.
EcoBroker® Certified
With first-hand knowledge of what makes a home structurally sound, an eye for architectural design, experience with financing, and enthusiasm for working with other people, I offer a wide array of knowledge to my real estate clients. I have received my EcoBroker® certification, training which better assists clients concerned about their health, sustainable development, and the future of the planet. From windows to passive solar heating to energy savings, I have many resources to help buyers and sellers make better real estate decisions. The EcoBroker training enhances my understanding of energy and environmental issues, and makes me more equipped to convey these understandings to my clients.
Education and BackgroundIn 1991 I graduated from Northern Arizona University with a degree in Advertising and Marketing. Following this I continued to follow my career path in the hospitality industry as a Sales Manager for Bristol Hotels and Resorts and later as a General Manager for Intercontinental Hotels and Resorts. As General Manager I was responsible for two hotels, 15 managers, 200 employees, 500 guest rooms, 2 restaurants and 15,000 square feet of meeting space. While it was a challenging, exciting and successful career I found myself looking for a connection with people that only Real Estate could give me and made my move to Real Estate in 2005.
