Angela has an intimate knowledge of what takes to sell property quickly in the southwest city area, especially in the St. Louis Hills and Lindenwood Park areas. She knows where the market is, pricewise, and she knows what sorts of things will be "big deals" during buyer inspections. She also knows responsive contractors who are willing and able to meet deadlines associated with scheduled closing dates. She's good at her business, and it shows. The only real negative is that because she is so good at what she does, she's, understandably, in demand, and can be, at times, somewhat hard to reach. (A don't take that the wrong way - she always returns calls, it just that, sometimes, it took a bit longer than I had expected.)
Angela is a Professional Realtor. I know this statement is somewhat of an obvious statement, but it is the most accurate way to describe Angela and her office.
Pre-Engagement - Angela came over to look at the house and provide us with her process. Angela professionally presented herself with confidence and provided us what her proposed marketing campaign. Angela's did not sugar coat the market and let us know what the steps would be if we did not go "under" contract within a certain amount of time. Angela's commission rate was higher than others we spoke to, but Angela seemed to be more "legit" than other agents. Angela also explained what needed to be done to the house to get sale ready.
On-Market - Through Angela's technology we were always aware of showings and feedback. Angela gave it to us straight both good and bad feedback and what it meant. We did to one price drop during the process. Angela ensured Marketing materials were always at the house.
Under-Contract - I believe a contract was obtained due to Angela's connections and "working" the house with other agents in her office. This is really where Angela's office took over. Gail did a good job of being proactive. This is worth the extra commission. Angela has a lot of great resources for inspection requests and Gail kept us on schedule for closing.
In reading other reviews of Angela, there were several comments about Angela not responding or being unprofessional with appointments. Angela was generally very quick to respond, there were a few times were it took a little longer, but I think our expectations were being unreasonable. It is important to remember that Angela is a high volume agent and we were not her only customer...Just because she responded within seconds a couple of times, doesn't mean that should be the expectations every time.
Very good business experience with Angela and Co. We will reach out to Angela for future sales and will pass her name off to potential sellers. If you are selling a house in South St. Louis city, I honestly think it would be foolish to not talk with Angela about your property. Angela has an exceptional track record in the city and will increase your chances of selling your house.
