Alaska is my passion and I enjoy sharing that passion with those who are here for the very first time, or even "sourdoughs" who have been here before statehood.In 1977 I flew into the small Southeast town of Skagway, and fell in love with the Last Frontier. Eventually in 1984 I moved to the Matanuska Valley in the Palmer/Wasilla areas just north of Anchorage, and made my home here ever since.Kayaking, photography, birding, are some of my favorite interests. This is a proud, patriotic, freedom loving state that attracts those who want just a taste of that in their own lives.
