Is there a way to avoid the City of Detroit inspection & cert of occupancy?

Answer
These requirements are mandatory and its easier to take care of it up front then later on get fined huge legal fees. There are many companies using a hold harmless but that will not stop the city from fining you.

Always the more the better but there are many many lenders out there that lend money. I would look and research because there are always hard money lenders out there.

How do you get squaters out of a home that is owned by a bank?

Answer
I have had numerous homes over the years with squatters and like said the police rarely come the see this as a court issue so sometimes its a no win situation. There are also fake leases and squatters that just like to steal fixtures in the property. The best bet is to contact police to make a report and the bank managing the property. I have many stories on this subject!!!
