Summary:

As a first time home buyer, I often found myself clueless... Thankfully, Carol Baker's breadth of knowledge was a buoy of hope, as I tried to keep my head above water. She was able to anticipate future problems in restoration/repair, neighborhoods, taxes, and was at my beckon call. At the beginning, I was looking at the price of the property, but Carol taught me to take into account the real cost... What type of heating is used? What condition is the roof in? How much will it cost to repair? She saved me from more than a few money pits. As I scan through my emails, I found the turnaround to be only a few hours. Furthermore, unless she was in a meeting or the other line, Carol always took my calls. She without a doubt has a passion for helping satisfy new homeowners; tweaking her schedule multiple times for the opportunity to show me even a single property.

Summary:

My experience was ok. My agent who helped me buy the house was working with the agent who was selling the house. I thought there was a slight conflict of interest.

Summary:

Carol helped our son (the property owner) and us as his legal representative with onsite responsibility, through a difficult and complicated shortsale process. We have such a wonderful variety of homes for sale at such affordable prices
mixed with low interest rates First time buyers are able to purchase a home which is still The American Dream ! Lets talk out about what buyers choices are. Private Owners ( most are well maintained ready to move in) Many buyers today are taking advantage of the bank owned homes that are priced sometimes at auction prices, Short Sales are another portion of homes available which can be the better of both worlds for a home buyer. Usually they are priced below market value, but because they are exchanged from one homeowner to a home buyer, they are usually in good condition. Time frames for a new mortgage and processing a short sale can be timed pretty well.
When you look at purchasing a Home for as little as 3.5% down payment combined with low interest rates and home prices it seems silly to rent.
