Bought a home in 2006.

Tom assisted me in the purchases of two homes, both during competitive markets, and the sale of one home. In both purchase instances I happily purchased a home I truly loved, for a fair price. Both were within my budget at the time and suited me very well for the stage of life I was in at the time (pre and post family). The home sale was a little more rocky but that was due to the buyers financing issues along with the lending climate, which we had no control over. In the end it all worked out. We sold when we needed to, got a fair price and Tom handled the issues that came up, as they will inevitably, very well.

Tom was extremely patient, knowledgeable and thorough while I figured out which city was the right one to reside in. In both cases multiple cities were being considered and Tom was helpful asking the right questions to help the decision along. In the beginning he gently guided my expectations in terms of my budget and the market, which was needed especially for a green buyer. It’s clear he has a lot of experience. I also appreciated the fact that he was upfront and honest with me, when you are trying to buy a home it’s no time to beat around the bush or play games. He really listened to what I needed and what I wanted, and showed many, many, many options (I was lucky he was so good natured!).

Looking back I actually enjoyed my time house hunting, and Tom was a big reason. I felt comfortable, knew I was in good hands and was never rushed, whether buying or selling. I’m sure you will feel the same way too.

Sold a home in 2013.

He helped us purchase our current residence as well as the one before that. It took 5 months to find the right house, but he was very patient and did a lot of the preliminary leg work for us ("Come and see this one quickly" or "Don't bother looking at this one, its not what you want.") He also listed and sold our previous residence and more recently sold a residential investment property for us.

Bought a Single Family home in 2009 for approximately $550K in Santa Teresa, San Jose, CA.

Tom helped us find our wonderful home in San Jose in 2008/2009. We were very impressed by his patience in showing us homes and making offers when many properties were short sales (which often took a long time and eventually didn't pan out). He spent many weekends over a period of more than a year with us until we finally found our home. We never felt pressured or rushed by Tom, which was very important to us.

What makes Tom unique is that he has worked as a real estate appraiser for many years. His background was extremely helpful in assessing what a fair price would be, and he often identified strengths and problems that he saw in a specific property. His insights were invaluable in deciding which properties to pursue.

Sold a Single Family home in 2013 for approximately $800K in Cambrian Park, San Jose, CA.

Tom Feasby is a true Real Estate Professional, experienced in every aspect, from appraisal to repairs, remodels and market analysis, to marketing, negotiating, and closing the sale. On top of all of this, Tom is a true gentleman, and an absolute pleasure to work with.

I was referred to Tom in 2005 by my long time tax accountant to have an appraisal done. Tom did the job quickly, thoroughly, and with impeccable documentation. Six years later, remembering the service I received, I called Tom for another appraisal job. This time I would also need some guidance on current market conditions for selling or renting the family home. This is when I learned that Tom is also a licensed Real Estate Agent. The more we talked I started to realize that this was the guy to have in my corner!

Early in 2013 I decided to sell, but needed help deciding what to do to improve the property, so I called Tom. We met, discussed options, and then Tom went off and prepared a list of recommendations and cost estimates. He said that he had done work with many different trades, and had contractors ready to help. We decided on a course of action, and Tom stepped up and coordinated everything! The contractors were expert craftsmen….real pros in what they do! From finish carpentry to drywall, paint, electrical and plumbing, he brought in a superb team to refurbish my home. Each and every one treated my home as if it were their own. They took pride in their work. My level of confidence with Tom was so high that my responses to his questions became “you decide, Tom.”

Tom stays on top of current trends, and knows what buyers are looking for. With Tom’s guidance, we were able to hold down cost, while maximizing return. The home came out better than I ever expected, completed on time, and right on budget. Best of all, the home sold in about a week!

The personal touch is a big part of what sets Tom apart from others. He works for his clients, is always on top of what needs to be done, and kept me informed every step of the way. Tom Feasby has earned my highest recommendation for all your Real Estate needs.

Bought a Single Family home in 2011 for approximately $500K in Santa Teresa, San Jose, CA.

My experience with Tom as my real estate agent in a difficult market was beyond anything I would have expected. Here's why. Not only does Tom have a wealth of experience buying and selling homes in the Santa Clara county, but since he's also been an appraisor for 30 years, he has a very good understanding of what makes a home more valuable. In addition, he was extraordinarily patient with me. Over the course of our search, we probably looked at a a few hundred homes before buying, but he never once tried to rush me or sell me a home at a bad price.

Tom is a throwback from a bygone era where cultivating relationships and doing right by the customer is more valuable than making a quick buck off an inexperienced customer. "Trust" is the first word that comes to mind when I think of Tom Feasby
