Sold a Single Family home in 2011 for approximately $300k in Everett, WA.Summary:
Unfortunately when my father passed away we had to sell his home in Everett. Knowing that the market is low I was not too excited about doing this. I felt I needed to interview several agents to get the best options out there because this was not your typical home. It was a passive solar design built in 1980.The first two agents interviewed did not understand the marketing of the home and did not respond with the enthusiasm I felt was needed. I was getting frustrated until a friend recommended I talk to the Barnett team (Toby and his mother Mickie). One thing that impressed me right away was on our first meeting Toby investigated the entire house, including the crawl space while I was going over things with Mickie. Even though this home is a little different and needed a special buyer, Toby and Mickie left with excitement and a promise to get right back to me. While others took over a week to get back to me, Toby and Mickie called me within 48 hours ready to meet. They showed up with a comlete file of local home sales in the area, an explanation of what they could do, a full resume, a resonable price for the home and a contract to get started. I signed the contract and by the next week had signs out front and in the windows along with a supurb pictorial of the exterior and interior of the house. Very impressive. We had a qualified buyer in 20 days and closed in the next month. As any sale goes there were a few glitches. Nothing serious but the Barnetts stepped up to the plate and negotiated with everyone involved to make a satisfactory sale. I would not hesitate to recommend Toby and Mickie Barnett to anyone asking for a professional, helpful and caring agent. It was a pleasant adventure.
