I would try talking with another lender. I have a lender in my office and he is great. If you wouldn't qualify right away he could give you tips and a timeline on when you would be able to qualify. His name is Todd Marshall and he works with People First Financial out of my Northwood Realty Services office in Stow. He is great, please give me a call from my profile and I can give you more of his information. Sorry, just do not want to put his information out there :)
You can make the contract contingent upon you finding another home to live in. This way the contract is still open until you do find your ideal home. If you want to rent until you find a new home then you will have to find an apartment that is either month to month or a 6 month lease. Hope this helps
Hello,I am not sure what state he is licensed in, but in Ohio Real Estate agents must be an independent contractor under a Brokerage. You will want to check the license laws in your state, but the best way to be an agent and not be under a broker is to become a Broker. Hope this helps!
Hello,Unfortunately, you cannot ask the seller to pay for your down payment. That is something you will need to pay for. Also, sellers can pay up to 3.5% of closing costs, but you will need to pay closing costs as well.
If I had to choose, Hudson or Brecksville :)
