Bought a Condo home in 2012 for approximately $225K in Uptown, Chicago, IL.
BJ helped us purchase our first home, and we couldn't have asked for a better agent. We were impressed by his in-depth knowledge of the local market, responsiveness and friendliness. His insights were valuable while we weighing our different buying options. Overall, BJ made the purchase of our first home a great experience, and would highly recommend him to anyone looking to buy a home.

Bought a home in 2012.
BJ is a life saver. We had been looking to buy for three years. But after meeting BJ, we found and bought our first home in three months. He knows everything about the process and was patient in answering our many questions. He was the first to point out potential problems or if the house did not meet our list of must-haves. He honestly put our best interest at heart.

Bought a Single Family home in 2011 for approximately $175K in Jefferson Park, Chicago, IL.
BJ helped my boyfriend and I purchase a home in Jefferson Park, and we’re so happy with both the home we’re in and our experience with BJ as our realtor. He was extremely knowledgeable of the areas we were looking in and provided valuable insight into prospective homes’ true appraisal value. He patiently showed us house after house, week after week and answered all of our questions until we found the place we ultimately bought. His honesty, flexibility, understanding of our needs, responsiveness and follow-up throughout the process made the stress of home buying so much less. I definitely recommend BJ!

Bought a home in 2011.
BJ will work diligently to find the right home that fits your individual needs. He answered all my questions honestly and knowledgeably, and within a reasonable time. He is very knowledgeable and experienced in the process, which I appreciated very much as a first time homebuyer. I highly recommend him.

Bought a home in 2011.
BJ was professional and extremely helpful in our search for a home. As newcomers to the Chicagoland area, we were overwhelmed by the size. BJ patiently showed us many communities and homes until we found just the right fit. We highly recommend Mr. Tregoning. He was never pushy, always knowledgeable, and very honest.

Bought a Single Family home in 2008 for approximately $500K in Albany Park, Chicago, IL.
BJ Tregoning helped my wife and I purchase a home in Horner Park. He was great. We didn't know the exact location of our choice and only gave BJ a few clues - price, style of home and general type of neighborhood. After a brief consultation with us, he was able to narrow down our choices instantly.
He took his time in showing us homes in several areas, both for comparable purposes and for potential purchase. As we toured these homes, his knowledge of home remodeling (he has done this as well) truly proved useful as he pointed out risk areas within the home as well as those elements that were built very well. He also was able to provide a sense of creativity on what changes could be made with a few extra dollars post-purchase.
Once we settled on a home, he was very patient with us on the price negotiation and gave strong advice on when to push and when not to push. We ended up knocking $30K off our purchase price. All in all, our search>purchase time was just 6 weeks. We couldn't have done it without BJ and have remained good friends since. I couldn't imagine using anyone else in Chicago for our next purchase and highly recommend BJ.

Sold a Single Family home in 2007 for approximately $300K in Mt Prospect, IL.
BJ helped us sell our 1 bedroom condo in a down market as well as purchase our current home. He was professional, prompt and knowledgeable. I recommend him to anyone I know who needs to buy or sell a home in the Chicago and suburban area.

Sold a Condo home in 2010 for approximately $225K in Albany Park, Chicago, IL.
BJ is a fantastic realtor. We had dealt with many Realtors and none have been as wonderful as BJ. BJ was always updating us on our listing. We never had to worry about the listing and if my realtor was doing everything possible to sell it. I knew selling my property was priority and he sold it!!!
