I came by real estate pretty naturally. My grandmother had been a very successful agent in the Oakland area when I was young. I would go to the office with her and watch her interact with people. I was with her at her open houses and I sat with her on weekday mornings as she wrote her ads for the weekend classified. I always enjoyed being around her while she was conducting business and her strong belief in home-ownership rubbed off on me.

I had been encouraging people to buy homes long before I was an agent.  Of course it's a great investment, but beyond that, it is the foundation of what I believe is important. It's your place of pride; it's where you raise your family and where you entertain friends. It's the place you go at the end of the day that's safe and comfortable. And when you own a home, it's yours and you can't be asked to leave because your landlord has decided to sell it or has raised the rent so high you can no longer afford it.

Much of who I am revolves around the home. I love family and am very close to my large, extended family. I love being a mother to my two sons, Sam and Nelson. I enjoy entertaining friends and I cherish the many friendships that I have. I am also proud to be an American where owning the American dream is still possible for people.

My twenty-five years of experience as a public school teacher has helped me be a better Realtor. I believe in the importance of my clients being educated about the entire real estate process. It allows for decisions to be made more comfortably and quickly, and truly reduces stress and frustration that can occur when buying or selling a home.

Real estate is an exciting business. I love the business aspect of it– the negotiating, the strategizing, and the challenge of achieving the best outcome for my clients. I pride myself in being honest and continually working toward a win-win solution for all those involved in a transaction. I know that it is imperative to keep up-to-date on market trends as well as on inventory in the area. Therefore, I keep my clients updated continually on market trends and believe that continuous communication before, during and after a sale or purchase can make the difference between a successful and exciting experience and a miserable experience. I put your interests first and I work proactively which helps to ensure that you find the right home, we get your home sold and that things don't unravel at the end of the escrow.

I love my job and would love the opportunity to work with you to achieve your real estate goals!

Sold a Single Family home in 2013 in Fair Oaks, CA.

We both bought a home and sold a home with Becky. She is an absolute pro on both sides of the buying/selling process. She knows everything there is to know about local real estate, and is an extremely good negotiator. She is also an extremely kind and caring person who never forgot that this was unknown territory for us. I would recommend her to anyone!  More Less

Bought a home in 2013 in Fair Oaks, CA 95628.

How incredibly lucky we were to be referred to Becky by the real estate agent who was handling the sale of our old house. She listened carefully to everything we said about what we were looking for in a new house and patiently drove us around to view house after house. When the crazy housing market resulted in every house we looked at getting dozens of bids, and bids $50,000 over the asking price, Becky never let us get discouraged. In the end, it was Becky thinking outside the box and putting us together with a builder that resulted in us buying our brand new dream house. Becky was always there for us throughout the entire process, answering a million questions and acting as a liaison with the builder (her teammate, Tiffany, was also a huge help). Even now, after a month in our new house, Becky still checks in with us to make sure we're happy and that everything is going well with the house. We can't begin to thank her for everything she did for us. We consider Becky a true friend and would recommend her to anyone seeking help with any real estate service.  More Less
