We connected, but it did not work out. Looking in Gilbert, AZ
We have yet to work on buying, rather planning move to AZ from Iowa. First talk was impressive, then dwindled to zero. Found more reliable realtor who calls every month . Nice person but not what we need.

Primary point of contact: Derek Dickson
I had a great experience working with Derek. He was very easy to chat with and clearly knows his profession's ins and outs. Derek is also a very good person who will look after his client's best interest. After my family talked with Derek he understood what we wanted and knew the kind of houses we were interested in. He put us at ease and made it a stress free experience. Derek started working with us right away and was very kind, thoughtful, patient and was always there to answer our questions. His willingness to make us happy was exemplary. I strongly recommend Derek as a realtor for anyone. From start to finish, he was extremely helpful, professional and competent, I would use him again.
For a first time home buyer and someone that worries about things even when there is nothing to worry about, my mind was always at ease working with Derek. Any questions I had were answered in a matter of minutes. No where do you find that level of customer service these days. You literally feel like you are the only person he is working with to help find a home, when clearly, that is not the case. Anyone who works with Derek will not be disappointed, actually, you will likely feel more at ease knowing that he is working for you. Thank you Derek!!!
working with derek made my first-time home buying experience exciting. he was so helpful, he knew what he was talking about, and best part... he was honest. if he saw a place that wasn't the best or maybe wasn't worth the list price.. he said so... and i appreciated that more than anything. he knew his stuff, he helped explain it, and with my crazy schedule he was so accomodating! he listened to what i liked and didn't like and used that to help lean me towards my new home.
i endd up with a hud home which is even more of a different situation and he helped explain it, keep me updated on where things were in the process, and helped me get everything in order for me to move it and finally have a backyard!

Derek was fantastic to work with. We are new to the area and I gave him a location and then expanded our location. He was great on getting us new listings promptly and was always available to show us a house based on my time schedule. He was also at helping us submit an offer. He had the knowledge to offer as far as what he thinks we should offer and the types of things we should include in our offer. He was also a great help on helping us with the things that needed to be repaired after the inspection and was always on top of everything as far as the mortgage company, inspections, appraisals. Thanks again Derek for all your assistance and I had already recommended a co-worker and Derek has been working with her as well. She said she loves that Acedemy mortgage is on top of everything Her other mortgage company never informed her of what was going on so she has had no problems working with Tyson.
I thought we started off strong working together, but was very disappointed with the responsiveness in changing my search and other information I asked for as time went by. Seemed more interested in helping me find a home that was clearly not in my budget, versus listening to my limit and helping me find the right home for me. I asked several times to have my mls search tweaked or the price lowered, and it was not, and hardly responded to. I gave plenty of opportunities before I just gave up and decided to ask my friends for a realtor they recommended. Also, during the process we decided to put off looking seriously for a couple months. During that time I still had questions but they did not respond or make the changes I asked for. Sure enough, when the month came that I mentioned we were ready to look again, I got a call from the Bair group that they were ready to get going but it was too late. I got tired of the lack of communication and feeling like I had to ask over and over for things to be done, when they should be the people working for me. Luckily I found a wonderful realtor that worked better for me and we were in a home in 2 months. It just wasn't meant to be with the Bair Group.
Bought a Single Family home in 2012 in Coolidge, AZ.
We are from Washington State and when we decided to look at homes in Arizona we called Brian and several other realtors . Brian Bair was QUICK ... he called us right back and asked all the right questions. By the end of the first day Brian already had our search criteria set up and we started to receive a steady stream of emails with homes to look at. Due to our search criteria and the quick pace of the market the houses we were interested in were moving so fast that they were literally gone by the next day. I started to get discouraged and that's when Brian suggested we start working with Derek Dickson so that he could take care of us exclusively. Brian assured us that Derek would not stop until he found us a home and he was right! Derek was unbelievably FANTASTIC. He gave us his undivided attention and literally, no matter how many emails or questions or homes we asked him about, Derek was quick to respond (usually within the hour) and always made us feel like he was happy to help. Derek was professional and FAST and we felt like we were being cared for by a friend.
Brian was right, DEREK DID FIND US A HOME and we are thrilled because it was under our budget but still has everything we were looking for!
Every step of the way Derek was there to help us. The distance never seemed to be an obsticle and the final process seemed easy. We reeived GREAT care and attention from both Derek & Brian. All I can say is ... if you’re lucky enough to be assisted by Brian or Derek when you sell or purchase in Arizona, you won’t regret it.
Bought a Single Family home in 2012 for approximately $225K in Red Mountain Ranch, Mesa, AZ.
I cannot say enough good things about Brian Bair and his team! From the moment I made the inquiry (on Zillow) the level of service has been impeccable. Brian and his staff have gone above and beyond even after the closing of our transaction. I have already recommened him to my family and friends and will continue to do so. We wouldn't even consider using anyone else for our real estate needs!
Working with Brian was an awesome experience. He returned all my calls and emails promptly. It was an extremely smooth process. But the best part about Brian was his sincere concern for an unexpected health scare I had and his willingness to be flexible. He did not pressure me to close immediately or force me to walk away from the deal. I did close on the property and am very happy with my purchase.
I am a former real estate agent so I have had experience with some very unscruptulous people who are in it for only the money. I had considered getting my license here in Az but after meeting and working with Brian I have no need. I truly believe what Brian can do will ultimately save me more money than getting a license. I now have 6 rental properties and when it comes time to sell; Brian will be my agent. If you need to buy or sell property I highly recommend Brian. I feel I have not only found an agent but a friend too!
