Sold a Townhouse home in 2013 for approximately $525K in Alexandria, VA.
Sue Cook is a very knowledgeable professional. When I first contacted sue, my partner and I were "in over our heads" with a house we had to sell that had very little equity and a home we wanted to buy, with a limited radius of my partners job.
Sue researched and came to our home with a comprehensive binder that she had organized with all the comps in the neighborhood as well as a breakdown of what she would list our home for and the profit we would make. We were impressed with the time she took and her true caring work ethics.
When it came to looking at homes, she didn't blink when we gave her lists of homes we were interested in seeing even venturing into rural back country lands, walking in mud and snow to show us property's.
When we settled on a house that we both loved,it was in a state that she was not Licensed in. That did not stop her from assisting us in making our short sale dream come true. She stood by us advocating on our behalf ..... even contacting the listing agent on multiple occasions when our agent would not. We feel we couldn't have gotten this home if she cook wouldn't have been so aggressive when she needed to be.
I've been working with Sue for a few years. She is one of the hardest working people I've ever met. She responds quickly to e-mail and texts. She is very candid and upfront with you. There are no surprises with Sue.
Bought a Condo home in 2008 for approximately $200K in Manassas, VA.
Sue was a pleasure to work with. She is very knowledgeable and worked with my abnormal work schedule to get us taken care of. She answered all of our questions whenever we came up with them and that was frequently and at all hours. She knows her stuff and we feel that she had our best interests at heart and you can't say that about a lot of realtors. She was a joy to work with and I can't recommend her more highly!!!
Sold a Single Family home in 2013 for approximately $300K in Manassas, VA.
Sue is a great realtor. She helped my husband and I to sell our home. She was very flexible with our schedules and always easy to contact. Sue is unlike any other realtor that we have met. It was not about buying or selling a house, but instead about us and our family. She helped us to sell our house and is still helping us with the process of a short sale. She is in constant contact with us and has been making sure that we get exactly what we want even if it means looking at dozens of houses. We have recommended her to family and she has helped a friend purchase a house as well. Our friend has also enjoyed working with Sue.
My situation was very unique and Sue took the time out to help me even after I was discouraged about the property I originally went to see with her (which Is where I now reside at) :-) but she also was very helpful as to taking me to other properties and taking to several landlords about my situation. She was very patient and knowledgeable and I would recommend her to anyone!
Bought a Single Family home in 2013 for approximately $500K in Warrenton, VA.
My family has relocated to Northern VA, and had the very good fortune to have Sue assist us in finding a home. We have relocated four times for career opportunities, and without question, this has been the absolute best experience with an agent we have had! Sue has been fantastic! She was always available to us whenever we wanted to see homes, showed us dozens and dozens of homes across multiple counties, and really invested herself in learning exactly what type of home we were looking for so she could ensure our satisfaction. Her patience was really impressive! It has been a wonderful experience to have an agent, who we knew and truly felt, had our family's well-being in the forefront of her mind!
I am in the Customer Service industry for a Fortune 500 level company, and I have extremely high expectations when it comes to the customer experience - Sue exceeded all of our expectations and we would recommend her to anyone looking to buy or sell a home, without any hesitation!
My experience with Sue Cook was fabulous.I was impressed with her knowledge and negotiating skills. She was always available and responded to all my questions.I would highly recommend her services to anyone.
Showed home in 2012 in Fletcherville, Warrenton, VA 20187.
It was an awful experience. She attempted to take advantage of the fact that we were first time buyers. At first we thought the awful houses she was showing us had to do with our budget; however, when we switched to a different agent the quality of the homes shown to us went way up. We went out looking with her a few times, and never did she tell us any details about how to put in a bid or what to expect once we do. Our first day with our new agent, we learned more that we had our whole experience with Sue Cook. If you ask her a question, she will give you an answer that you want to hear; she won't put into any research into it. Don't settle for her and don't sign any contracts binding you to her.

“To be perfectly honest, I can not connect this review with any particular client or situation. I understand why sometimes people don’t want to use a real name when leaving a review so if this reviewer would like to contact me, I’d appreciate so that we can resolve their concern. Thank you!” I am sure you can tell from all the other reviews I strive for excellence and would love the opportunity to resolve this matter
Sue Cook was a great Realtor, anytime we need to contact her or have a question she answered right away, even late in the evenings. She took us to see any place we were interested in and was great with suggesting places that would be of interest to us. We are very please with our experience with her and her services. We Highly recommend Sue.
Sue is the ultimate professional as well as your best friend during the the stressful time of finding a home. She always gave me excellent advice, kept me encouraged when the market wasn't being cooperative, and best of all, she figured out my taste and cut out a lot of wasted time by directing the search to real possibilities. Needless to say I ended up in a home even better than I could have imagined thanks to Sue's perserverance and excellent discernment.
