For two years my husband and I have been searching for the perfect, huge, custom detailed house at our price range of the low $300,000.00 let me tell you its like a needle in a hay stack. After several Realtors and countless houses we've seen we slowly started to give up, you see what I wanted in my first home people don't normally get until there second or third house. One could say I'm into having the best or nothing at all, I don't settle. When you want a custom detailed house those normally start at half a million or you pay 40 to 50 thousand dollars in up grades. After almost giving up for a while and just stay renting I was given Cathy Hartmann-Gladwells name and number she owns Timberland Reality, I called her and told her what I was looking for I wanted a huge house for the least amount of money. Cathy showed us a new undeveloped neighborhood that had only one house built but with no finish work to view. It was huge 2189 sq ft. It was a great deal until I saw the design center and saw that this builder may give you sq footage but totally lacks in the finish work and I can't afford another 50 thousand in up grades. That's when I found out what is truly going to make me happy, its the custom detail finishes and those are expensive. Before I even backed out of that house Cathy showed us a home that was built by Bonterra Homes I was shocked at the beautiful custom finish work that came standard in these homes. The best part is I still had a 2000 sq ft home but for ten thousand dollars less. I can truly say in our experience good things come to those who wait. Cathy found my dream home for me in just two tries, I felt like she truly wanted to make me happy and took the time to understand what I wanted before I even new what I wanted. To make a long story short if custom finish work is what you want in a home but can't afford to pay 50 thousand in upgrades you must see a Bonterra Home. I just can't believe Cathy found what I wanted in a Bonterra Home for the price. This may sound silly but I fell like a kid who's never been to a candy toy shop, I'm so excited I close on my house next friday. Thank you Cathy for being the best at what you do and thank you Bonterra Homes for giving me my gorgeous fancy custom house.
