Bought a Single Family home in 2014 for approximately $225K in DRNAG, San Bernardino, CA.
I, hands down, will always recommend Chrissy! My wife and I were looking for a place to call home for two years and we went through 4 realtors. Our budget was in the low $200,000.
The first realtor we went with started showing us houses in the high $300,000's. After a quick discussion about our budget with that realtor, she started showing us houses in the $200,000's. The options were there and our "guidelines" were few. This should have been a cake walk for her to find us a home, as prices were the lowest they have been in a long time, despite the limited availability. So as quick as she came, we found another realtor.
Enyer stage, realtor number 2. Seemed to be a little more acknowledgeable to our wants, needs, and budget. She sent us a list of houses available at the time and gave us a chance to peruse over them and select what we wanted to go see. They were great houses and we started to see some light in our search for a home. We quickly replied with a "want to see" list; however, we heard no reply after that. Resend email. Nothing. Call. Left voicemail. Nothing. My wife and I started to get a little frustrated at this point...
We decided to hold off on a little bit as inventory started to dry up. We used this time to save a little more for a down payment to make any offers we decided to send out a little stronger, despite not having been able to submit one offer yet.
About 6 months later we were ready to start the hunt again. We decided to try Century 21. We walked in to the office and sat down with the first realtor that was available - realtor #3. We talked about our prior frustrations and then our wants and needs. She assured us she was determined to find us a place. She actually sent us some homes in our range and we started to to feel sure we were going to find something. Of course, until #3 went to Texas "for a week". This was perfectly fine with us as she mentioned she would be gone. Until a week turned into two, and then into a month, and then three... In that 3 months, we did not get one call, one email, or one text. Our realtor when off the grid. Of course, by this time my wife and I felt like giving up. There was no way we were going to find a home with our history of realtors. Until...
We decided to return to our lender at Century 21. Jerad Burke was one of the lenders that we had gotten prequalified with and he seemed like a very cool guy to work with. So we went to him and told him our situation and that we wanted to use Jerad but take his services with us to a different realtor company. He said he was happy to do that but before we went somewhere else, he wanted us to try a recommendation he had. He introduced us to Chrissy!
Within the day, we sat down for the fourth time to talk about our wants and needs. We were inside of 2 houses within the next day AND we had a good list of 10 or so ready to schedule an appointment. We showed Chrissy what we wanted to see and within the day an appointment was scheduled! She seemed more eager to see the houses than we did! Within a couple of days, she found us a house and we actually put in our first offer! The sellers accepted and Chrissy walked us through the entire process! We went in to escrow. However, due to needed repairs, escrow fell out. By the end of the week, we had seen a total of 5 more houses and put in another offer. The seller accepted our offer and we were off and running again. She walkes us through the entire, process again and by the end of the process, WE WERE OFFICIALLY HOMEOWNERS!!!!
Chrissy Burke has the experience and determination to get you into your new home! If you want to buy your new home, CALL CHRISSY BURKE!
We would not have been able to purchase a house if it weren't for Chrissy. She always replied to all our calls, emails, and texts. If she missed any, she responded within an hour. She always answered our questions and did all of this with a smile on her face!
Bought a Single Family home in 2009 for approximately $175K in Mentone, CA.
We bought our house in 2009 when there were a flood of bank owned properties on the market. Chrissy came highly recommended to us by a close friend and it became clear right away why. She is hardworking and dedicated and she never fails to go the extra mile for her clients. She patiently showed us one house after another for months. Our area is very sought after and we were outbid quite a few times. She drew up contract after contract and even helped us to make the right decision to walk away from a home after a disappointing inspection.
She was always easy to get a hold of and would return phone calls the same day. She has expansive knowledge of the Redlands area and the home buying process. She never failed to have a new home ready to show us every week and every time we felt like giving up she assured us and showed us that there was a home out there for us.
It took us six long months to find the perfect home. Chrissy's negotiating skills when dealing with the bank (the seller) were unsurpassed. She was able to get them to pay for any damage and to settle on a very reasonable price. We are still in the home to this day and we don't plan on going anywhere soon. We can't thank her enough for finding us such a perfect home. We will never buy another home without Chrissy Lee Burke by our side.
Chrissy is a true professional. Her knowledge and dedication set her apart from many real estate agents. She helped my daughter find her first home! She never gave up on us and encouraged us through the whole process. Chrissy is now helping my son to find his first home as well. She's always been positive and helpful. I would HIGHLY recommend Chrissy if your looking to buy a home in the Inland Empire.
We look forward to many more years of working with Chrissy.
Bought a Single Family home in 2012 for approximately $250K in Redlands, CA.
Our good friend, who happens to be very selective and picky, referred Chrissy Burke to us when we began the home buying process in early 2012. We were aware of some of the uncertainties in the mortgage approval process due to the economic challenges after the housing crash, but really desired to be equipped with a knowledgeable realtor when looking for and placing a competitive offer on a house. Chrissy was the right realtor for us! We had a short, albeit strict list of "must-haves" we were not willing to compromise on in looking for a house. Shortly after contacting Chrissy, we met with her to see a short sale which met all of our demands: a single story home, low-maintenance yard, established neighborhood without HOA dues, and in a highly-desirable Redlands neighborhood.
From the day we met Chrissy,we were immediately impressed with her professionalism and expertise of the market in our desired area, but it was only through the long and complicated process of buying a short sale-with every possible delay imaginable-that we began to see the value of having Chrissy as our realtor.
Chrissy is a professional with utmost ethical integrity. Not only does she promptly return phone calls and emails, she does what she says she will do and always follows through with her word. Our experience with Chrissy taught us that a good realtor is an ally, advocate, mediator, and someone who has our best interest as the foremost importance in the process. Chrissy exemplified these qualities to the fullest. There were even times Chrissy had to tell us the truth of the process even when she knew it risked our backing out of the deal. She always had our best interests at heart. She gave up countless personal hours to investigate then inform us of the intricacies associated with our complicated sale, referred us to the best, and honest, professionals needed to complete the process, and maintained her professionalism even when the sellers/seller's agent were not always forthcoming.
Chrissy encouraged and directed us in the right decisions each time there was another hurdle to overcome, and we were very pleased we followed her lead through the lengthy seven month process. It was more than worth it! We are now raising our children in a wonderful neighborhood in a beautiful home, and our home's equity had nearly doubled the purchase price of our home-just as she said it would!
Chrissy has definitely set the standard high, and as long as we stay in California, we will only use and recommend Chrissy for our home buying or selling.
Sold a Single Family home in 2010 in Beaumont, CA.
Chrissy helped me in purchasing my first home as a single mother on one income. She helped me find the best home, in a safe neighborhood, that my budget would allow. The whole process of buying can be very overwhelming but she took me through it step-by-step with patience, while educating me and keeping me informed. I am so grateful to have had Chrissy by my side during the process, and when I got married I just had to trust her again for the sale of my husband's house and purchase of our new family home. I highly recommend her to anyone searching for their perfect home.
Bought a Single Family home in 2012 for approximately $150K in Yucaipa, CA.
Chrissy did an amazing job at helping me buy my house. She was constantly sending me new listings and answering any questions that I had as a first time buyer. She took me to numerous properties throughout our search until we found the perfect match. Buying a house can be a little scary, but I felt completely at ease with Chrissy. I always recommend her to anyone I come across that mentions buying a home. Fantastic service!
Chrissy helped me sell my house during a very down market when we had to sell because of a divorce. She's also helped me rent two different houses and assisted two friends buy houses. She is one of the kindest most caring people I've ever met who takes the time to get to know you so she can help find the right house for you. I would strongly recommend her to anyone attempting the home buying process!
Bought a Single Family home in 2009 in Redlands, CA.
Chrissy spent time with us getting to know us and helping us find and purchase our perfect home. The sale was not easy- Chrissy had to deal with an unresponsive realtor and bank (our home was a foreclosure). We were high maintenance buyers, and Chrissy handled us with patience and understanding and navigated this situation wonderfully. In the end, we gained a home and a new friend. We highly recommend Chrissy - we are so happy with our experience.
Bought a Single Family home in 2014 for approximately $225K in San Jacinto, CA.
We heard about Chrissy through a family member. We called her up and began the home buying processes. Within a few days we had been preapproved and began looking for homes. Chrissy was not too familiar with the area we were looking in, but through extensive research on her end we had 20 solid options. After narrowing it down to 1 an offer was made, and escrow was started. We ran into issues during closing due to the other realtor and the sellers but Chrissy took care of everything for us. From start to finish we were in a home in about 45 days. In my opinion any realtor can sell a house. But what makes the difference in realtors is how through and responsive they are, and how they handle issues like the one we experienced. This is what sets Chrissy apart from other realtors. When I buy another home I will be using her. And I will highly recommend her to family and friends.
