While still in high school, Cecily Overton developed her interest and love for the real estate profession. She started her professional journey as a receptionist in a real estate office. Her duties included directing phone calls and scheduling home showings, meetings, and closings. Her attention to detail, her organizational ability, and her people skills earned her a position as the broker/owner's personal assistant.
"As the broker/owner's personal assistant, I learned all aspects of the business," said Cecily. "Learning the business from an experienced professional and learning by doing were the two best strategies I can think of to develop a sound foundation in the business."
During my years as a broker's assistant. My broker was a noted specialist in dealing with Foreclosures and short sales and as a result I have been the beneficiary of her expertise.
With six years of experience behind the scenes of the business, Cecily secured her real estate licenses. "I love helping people find their Dream Home!" said Cecily. "Whether helping people sell a home, buy a home, or even investors looking for that next investment property, the outcome is so rewarding!"
With professional yet personal communication skills, Cecily can determine and meet the needs of those she works with and for. "It is not about the money. I truly love helping people. Each client is my top priority from the beginning of the professional relationship to the closing on selling or buying of a home," Cecily said.
In a society that is networked by an intricate technology platform, Cecily realizes that the more resources available to help her clients the more successful the clients will be in finding the home of their dreams.
