I had the pleasure of working with Susan Chaney to purchase our new home. If you want a hard-working and down to earth real estate agent, look no further. She provided sound advice and has a great knowledge of the area. I would highly recommend Susan to anyone!

Bought a Single Family home in 2011 for approximately $225K in Huntersville, NC.
Susan Chaney is the best! Coming from Texas to Charlotte, Susan helped us find our perfect home! Her personality sets her apart from anyone. She is HONEST and will tell you what she likes and dislikes about the homes you see. She will also tell you if you are getting a good deal. Susan is so personable, she has advice not only on homes, but on the overall area. We wanted to find the right home and we found many that we wanted to see - Susan was always patient with us, always quick to respond to emails, phone calls, text messages.
My husband and I were first time home buyers and quickly realized there are many steps to buying a home. Susan is the realtor that CAN and WILL handle all of those steps, from showing homes, to negotiating a deal, to coordinating contractors, inspectors, and financing, to closing. If not for Susan's skills and experience, I don't believe we would be living in our perfect house right now.
Bottom line: because of her, we found our perfect home, got a great deal, and even had fun and enjoyed the process.
She is the realtor that you want on your side! I HIGHLY recommend Susan Chaney!

Susan was very informative and really knew our needs and what we were looking for. She really listened to our specifications and found homes that we were interested in. We had a really positive negotiating experience. Susan assisted us with the sell of our previous home and the purchase of our new home. The process couldn't have went any smoother and that was attributable to Susan's experience and her ability to really get to know her clients.

Susan Chaney was so into what we wanted, needed and could afford. She worked with us through our sale of home in Pennsylvania (along with all the headaches and heartaches). She was always there to help us through it all. If you want a real estate agent that tells you what you want to hear Susan is not your person. Let’s face it, life is not butterflies and puppies and real estate sure should not be either. If you want to sell or buy a home and want a real estate agent that is honest and tells you how it is Susan is your person. I worked with Susan on selling a townhome in Uptown Charlotte and purchasing a new home in Huntersville, NC. Our townhome sold within 90 days and everyone walked away happy. When we purchased our new home Susan looked out for our best interest and made sure we were happy with the home that we purchased. She is aggressive, passionate and realistic which something many sales representatives have to fake. I would highly recommend Susan to any of my friends because you don't want her to be on the other side of your negotiation.

What a wonderful experience looking for a home with Susan! I would give people her information time and time again.
After just moving to Charlotte from the West Coast and having never been here before, she took care of us and ensured we were searching in all the right areas that would meet our needs. I had no doubt whatever property she showed to us would be in a safe area with all the requirements we had asked for the home to have.
Susan always responded to e-mails, phone calls and even text messages! She went out of her way to show us properties as soon as they were available and was always on time.
At one point when we were negotiating with a tough woman on a model home and I got to see her negotiation skills. Let me just say I would hate to be the person on the other end of her table! I was shocked by how quickly she could respond and come up with new ideas while keeping only our interests in mind. On top of that, she was very professional, yet aggresive in getting what we wanted and not compromising on anything before asking us first.
I truly mean it when I say she is the best real estate agent out there. It was a terrifying experience looking for homes in a brand new area and I believe I wouldn't have gotten through with it if I had any other agent.

Bought a home in 2009.
As first time homebuyers, my partner and I were very apprehensive about the home-buying experience. However, the moment we met Susan, those fears subsided. She was extremely knowledgable about the area we were looking to move into and helpful at recommending neighborhoods. She kept all of our wants in mind, and we ended up making an offer on the second house we viewed. Susan walked us through the process from start to finish, answering any questions we had and was available 24/7. During negotiations, you could tell she had our best interests in mind, not her commission. We will only ever use Susan Chaney in the future.
