Bought a Single Family home in 2014 for approximately $275K in Lynden, WA.

Chris and his team are simply amazing. They answered all of our questions as we had many. They did not pressure us to buy a house that wasn't right for us. They took the time understand what we where looking for. Thank you for everything and making our first home buying experience a memorable one!

Sold a Single Family home in 2014 for approximately $250K in Blaine, WA.

Having bought and sold a few houses in the last 30 years, we’ve been “around the block” with more than a few realtors. Never before have we worked with an agent of the caliber of Chris Erdmann (and his staff, Becca Phelps and Stacy Graves).

We met Chris through Redfin.com. We saw a house online we liked and his picture came up as a Redfin recommended agent. That house wasn’t what we needed; neither were the next 30 or so houses we asked Chris to show us in the ensuing weeks. We’re going through big life transitions and just couldn’t make up our minds as to what direction to go. Chris never relegated us to, “Oh, it’s THEM again.” To the contrary, he supported us completely and always made sure we saw any house we were considering within hours.

We decided we didn’t want to have to make a contingent offer when we found our dream house, so we decided to sell our home in Birch Bay. We knew Chris was responsive and knowledgeable as a buyer’s agent—we had no idea what a great seller’s agent he is too! He gave us fantastic feedback as to what buyers were looking for in the suddenly very competitive Bellingham, WA market.

Our house sold in less than a week. No fuss, no muss. Becca sent us all the paperwork to sign via Authentisign—a secure, online method that removed the hassle of everyone trying to clear their schedule to meet up. It was truly astounding how easy and stress-free it was.

We moved into a rental situation and Becca kept emailing us possible homes to consider. Our needs were so unique, we wondered if what we wanted was actually out there. One day, while checking out Zillow.com, we saw an interesting house for sale by owner.

We called the owners, saw the house and it was perfect. They had a realtor friend to help them on their end—but we needed an agent to represent our interests. Who did we call? Chris Erdmann. He came out (again, within a scant few hours of our call) and walked the house/property with us. The guy’s got SKILLS, man, and not just “realtor” skills. He knows the ins and outs of construction. He looked at this house like HE was buying it for himself, pointing out the plusses and minuses

Lastly, we think the most impressive thing about Chris is his compassion—he is truly a caring human being who understands that selling a home can be an emotional experience. Not only was he extremely respectful of that when we sold our home, but also to the owners who were selling their much beloved home.

We signed the papers on our new house yesterday. I dropped off the earnest money check to Chris’ office and was made to feel—by Chris, Becca and Stacy—like we’d just bought the Taj Mahal. Even though it’s just 1,500 sq ft.—for us, it is the Taj Mahal— and Chris and his associates get that!
