We just completed a "downsize" and Connie Miller's mastery of the real estate business is what made it happen. And working with her has been a pure pleasure.
We had been at our former address for 30 years. We had volumes of stuff and lots of deferred maintenance. And we had only antique knowledge of the real estate business. We required help all along the way. Connie provided that help in the most detailed, effective, and kind way.
Among many things that Connie did well for us, at least three were critical. The first is that she marshaled tremendous resources to help us get out of the old house and prepare it for sale. She got us an excellent "personal concierge" to help us sort through literal tons of stuff. She got us a moving company that did the move with less than a weeks notice and in one day. Once the house was empty, she organized an army of her contractors both to fix things and to make the place spectacular for showing. All the work by contractors was done in some two weeks at an astonishing pace. The house was staged beautifully. She managed our offering deftly with regard to other houses coming on he market. It sold the week after it was first shown.
Connie's second major contribution was on the purchase of our new house. Ours was one of five offers on the property. The seller made three counter offers and Connie guided us through our reply offer. There ended up being two identical offers. It was because of Connie's deft handling of the offers and the interaction with the seller's agent that we got the house.
Finally, Connie provided crucial guidance in pricing properties. The effects were clear: we sold under exactly the terms we wanted, and we won the first house on which we offered.

Connie Miller helped me purchase a new home in Los Gatos and sell my Palo Alto condo. My Palo Alto condo closed in a little over a month—and this was over the Christmas and New Year’s holiday season. This is the 8th home I’ve purchased – Connie is by far the best realtor that I have ever known and my experience working with her is unparalleled. One of the best things: once I told Connie what type of home I was looking for, she immediately “got it” and never sent me on a wild goose chase or tried to show me houses that were all wrong. She never wasted my time. Her integrity is impressive.
Connie and I worked for about 5 months to find the right house and looked from Menlo Park, down to Los Gatos. Every week, she previewed homes for me and sent out inquiries to potential sellers in desirable neighborhoods. On Fridays, I received a list of homes to look at with commentary about the “fit” of each plus some she thought were a long shot but I might want to see for various reasons. She was so patient as I vacillated through making an offer or not….Once I made an offer and the offer was countered by the owner. When I decided not to counter offer (because I had decided that the house just wasn’t quite right), she was patient and never became frustrated with me.
Not only is she truly a delightful and fun person to work with, but she is a working woman’s dream: every need from online document review & signatures that can be reviewed at 11 pm at night to a network of professionals (attorney’s, mortgage broker) and tradesmen (painter, handyman, cleaners) were available and at my service when required. Everyone she referred me to has provided excellent and timely services – and was reasonably priced.

Bought a Condo home in 2011 for approximately $350K in Campbell, CA.
First time home buyer here. For me, my home buying experience had some time constraints and I didn't exactly know what I wanted in a house. I was referred to Connie and met with her on a Friday afternoon and explained my situation. By the next day Connie had created a multi-house tour with my general criteria for me to go and explore various open houses on my own. I saw something like 17 houses that weekend and after that was able to articulate what I wanted and didn't want in a house. I contrast this experience with a realtor I met before Connie. This realtor didn't want me to go and see houses unless he was present too. I thought this was too limiting, so when I mentioned this to Connie I felt like my whirlwind 17 house weekend tour was a custom plan created for my situation and constraints. I liked that. The weekend after that we both went out had a much more targeted approach. We toured a few places and by the end of the day I knew which house I wanted.
Once I found a house she was great in closing the deal. She navigated the HOA which was a huge mess due to their bad financials. We were able to negotiate down from the asking price. Home inspections were informative since there was some curious modifications to the HVAC system. The Alain Pinel tools are a great resource.
All in all a good experience and I love my place. Would recommend.
