It's a little confusing, but on the FDIC website, I think they're saying that a couple with two separate accounts, plus one joint account, is insured up to 400K.

Correct me if I'm wrong. I heard that if you have one account in the husband's name, and another one in the wife's name, each account is insured up to 100K. In addition, you can also have a joint account with both names that will be insured up to $200K. That would mean that the couple would be insured up to $400K in one bank.
I've noticed this for a while... on my property and on others. When it says, for instance, click on all 15 photos, nothing happens. You need a magnifying glass to see all of those tiny photos. They just won't enlarge anymore.
Why is my house not showing up on line?
As long as you're looking into things, perhaps you can look into mine, as well. When my zip code is typed into the search, my house no longer shows up as being for sale. No flag would overlap on my property, so why is it necessary to press the + sign twice in order for the red flag to finally show up? Like SCdream, one has to actually type in my address to see that the house is for sale, or zoom twice into a small area. Why would a buyer bother to zoom into an area if they aren't seeing any flags over homes to begin with? This makes no sense.
Why is my house not showing up on line?
I have the same problem. I have to zoom in on the map several times before a red flag shows up over my property. The answer that Zillow gave me was lame. They said that there are too many houses in my area that are for sale and that flags would overlap. But there are no houses for sale in my general vicinity, and no flag would overlap with mine. In the meantime, buyers don't know that my house is for sale unless they decide to zoom several times on this particular area. Why would they do this? There used to be a red flag over my house when you'd first go on the map, but then it changed to this. That's the day when I noticed that I stopped getting traffic on my property. Why am I even listed here?
House is not showing on list or map
Thanks for your reply, JeAr.
In addition to being a seller, I am also a buyer. As many other buyers do, I always look at area first because I feel that's what's most important when looking for a home.
In fact, I was looking at a specific area for a home, and noticed that one house that I was considering was off the market because the red flag was no longer there. When I zoomed in, I was surprised to find that this particular house was STILL for sale. I would have given up on it and moved on had I not known that I have to zoom in two times. That house is not near any other homes that are for sale, so in that case, the flag would not overlap.
Since my house is also the only house in the general vicinity and would not overlap with any others, I can't see how not having it show up on the regular zip code map is justified.
If a buyer knows the area, I can't see any reason why they would even think to zoom in two times on the map. This sounds to me like a bug that ought to be fixed.
House is not showing on list or map
Now that you said that, I do see that when I zoom in twice, the house shows up on the list. Still, who is going to zoom in twice? A buyer wouldn't know to zoom in to see other available homes when looking at the map. As far as the buyer knows, my neighbors' houses are for sale, and mine isn't.
Is there a way to override this and get it back on the regular map and the list of homes for sale, without having to use the zoom function two times? Perhaps by re-entering my listing or some other information? Otherwise, the whole idea of advertising here seems useless. Thanks.
House is not showing on list or map
yet it's still for sale. When I type in my zip code, the red flag for my house does not show up at all... yet houses for sale nearby show up just fine. My house is also not on the list below the map as being for sale. However, when I go on the map and click "+" two times, then the flag suddenly appears! Still, the listing does not. Someone would have to specifically click the plus sign twice and then click on the flag to see that my house if for sale... or type in my exact address, which is highly unlikely. There was not a problem before this. This changed a few days ago for some unknown reason. Not surprisingly, I haven't had a single view of my property since this happened.
How do I fix this? I sent a message here a few days ago, but received no answer. I put my house on Zillow to show that it's for sale, but no one knows about it. Help, please.
For sale flag not showing up on map, nor is house listed being for sale
It was just the past few days when I noticed that , when I punch in my zip code, the red flag for my house is no longer on the map. Also, when I look below on the page, my house is also no longer listed with a photo and description, nor does it say that it's for sale. It only shows up as being for sale when I type in my exact street address... yet I'm still getting email from Zillow acknowledging that my house is for sale. There was no problem before this. What happened during the last few days, and what can I do to put it back? Viewers don't know that my house is for sale.

Property Lines on Zillow's map
These new property lines that have been drawn on your maps are inaccurate. There's a line going through my backyard which cuts right through it, making it seem as if my yard is smaller and my neighbor's yard, behind me, is larger. I'm trying to sell using Zillow, and I hate the thought that potential buyers will look my listing and think that the yard is small. Actually, this line is also wrong on the entire street. The lines are going right down the center of pools in the neighbors' backyards. Things were fine the way they were. Why put in these lines if they're not going to be correct? One selling point on my house is that it goes 10' deeper than most other yards in the area, but the line makes it look as if it's at least 10' *less* than most. Please either remove these lines or do them right.
