Craig Mische was born in Oxnard, California but has called Alexandria, Minnesota home since the age of 2 after his dad's employer, 3M, transferred his family and led him to a lifetime at the lakes (Craig has lived on Lake Brophy, Lake Carlos, Lake L'homme Dieu and Lake Minnewaska). Following graduation from Alexandria's Jefferson Senior High School ('87), he was a student-athlete (4 years of varsity hockey) at the University of St. Thomas and graduated ('92) with a BA in Marketing.

Craig is a full-time real estate broker and sales associate with Lakes Sotheby's International Realty assisting lakefront, residential and commercial clients but he is also active in contributing to the local and world community.

Craig is the President-elect of the Alexandria Rotary Club and will be traveling to Tanzania at the end of May ('09) on a service trip to the Peace House (a school for children orphaned by AIDS). Craig also has been a District 206 Mentor for the past six years and a three year Board Member of the Lakes Area Humane Society.
