Bought a home in 2013.
We dealt with a very unhelpful listing agent. She very easily could have made the process of buying my first house an absolute nightmare if not for having Creighton. He was on top of everything to make sure that everything went as smoothly as possible despite the listing agents best efforts to hold things up. Aside from that he is a great person and I never felt like he was trying "sell" me a house. I have a hard time believing you could find a better realtor to work with than Creighton.

Sold a Single Family home in 2014 for approximately $225K in Bartonville, IL.
Creighton has been absolutely incredible for us so far! He convinced us that it was the right time to market our home nearly 7 months earlier than we had planned it and we definitely don't regret it! Within 22 hours of putting it on the market, we had a buyer! In addition, Creighton was able to negotiate our dream home for the exact price that we wanted and was able to quickly resolve the few minor issues that came up during the home inspection. While we are currently dealing with a "difficult" buyer for our home, I firmly believe that Creighton will be able to resolve any issues with our best interests in mind. One of the things that we really liked about Creighton is that he never once tried to upsell us into a different home; he only showed us homes we asked to see, was honest with what he thought was a reasonable price for the home, and was quick to point out items that would be beneficial to us while bargaining with the seller. Up to this point, I would HIGHLY recommend Creighton as an agent and would definitely use him again in the future.

The Burrell Dream Team is amazing!!! I gave them a challenge and the concurred it like it was no beal. I am a single mother with one income, less than perfect credit, first time home owner and little to put down. The dream team lead me in the right direction, held my hand through every step and was able to help me accomplish my dream. Bought a Single Family home in 2014 for approximately $100K in Peoria, IL.
Be very wary. He comes off very helpful, but ends up just dropping you. Another agent ended up helping me and helping me close on my house. She was introduced to me as his "closing coordinator" but ended up being an agent with 7+ years of experience and clients of her own!

- The home I purchased was a foreclosure. He did not notify the listing agent that there was going to be an inspection so she was not able to get the water or gas turned on. We had to come back for a second inspection which was an additional $100. I was told by my new agent that she would ensure that Creighton paid for the additional inspection, as it was his fault that the inspection was not completed last time. I did eventually get my money for the $100 inspection, but my new agent ended up giving me a check and she made Creighton pay her. I was told at my closing that he had just paid her, which was about a month later.

- My home closing was delayed because the affidavit stating that I was receiving a grant was not given to the bank - something Creighton should have put in the contract. This issue was compounded by the fact Ellie Mae went down the day before my closing. Had the contract been put together properly in the first place, I would have missed the Ellie Mae fiasco completely.

Overall, I would NOT recommend him to anyone else. I have told other friends who are in the market for homes to steer clear.

Sold a Single Family home in 2014 for approximately $450K in Brimfield, IL.
Buying a home is stressful. Selling it is a completely different level of stress. Usually in those situations you fall back on what is comfortable and go to who you know and who has worked for you in the past.

In my situation I was under fairly significant time constraints and dealing with an out of state relocation. I worked with a referral agency to match me up to a realtor. Shortly after submitting the request I was contacted by Creighton. At first I was hesitant since it was not a name that I recognized.

It wasn't until I scheduled a sit down session in person that I realized how lucky I was. Creighton has an amazing ability to be both personal and professional in his communication. His presentation and approach to marketing his properties is casual, yet incredibly strategic. He was wonderful to work with and answered my texts/emails at about any time of the day.

Our property was only on the market for a day before we had multiple offers waiting for us. For that I can thank Creighton's style of marketing and ability to negotiate with other agents.

We sold in less than a day, with terms that were desirable, and at a price that I would have never expected. This young man works his tail off for you and seems to have fun doing it.

Creighton responded quickly to my email and was able to show my husband and I the house we were interested in right away, less than 24 hours. Any questions we asked we had answered quickly as well. Creighton has a wonderful personality and we could tell he was there to help us find a home to fit our needs and help us begin the next chapter of our lives together!

Honestly, I have never really liked working with realtors or car salesmen.... but Creig changed my opinion indefinitely. We messaged him on Zillow inquiring about a house. We didn't know him or any of the other realtors listed, it was more so just a random pick. He got back to us within MINUTES of messaging him on Zillow! He also went above and beyond to show us the house we were looking at with expense of his personal time. He has a great knowledge base of the area and is currently working with us to sell our house. We have been impressed since day 1 and he continues to work hard day in and day out to answer our questions/concerns and do whatever it takes to help us sell and buy! Highly recommended!

Sold a Single Family home in 2013 for approximately $250K in Dunlap, IL.
I found Creighton online and contacted him and several other agents with a lengthy "canned" questionnaire regarding the sale of my home in Dunlap. Creighton was the first one to reply (within an hour or two) and actually put effort into the responses. Other agents were slower to response (days) or simply punted on the questions as if I had offended them by asking trivial questions of them. Based on the responses I set up 1on1 interviews with each agent at my home. Not only did Creighton come prepared with the usual listing of comps but he brought with him his staging and design expert to weigh in on the readiness of my home. Creighton and his team were ready and motivated to do whatever it might take to sell my home. Comparing his approach to another agent who suggested that I didn't need to have professional pictures taken or leave the lights on before heading off to work (why bother cutting corners if you really want the house to sell quickly and for the best price?), I knew Creighton was the right choice for me. . Creighton's approach to marketing my home was innovative while remaining strategic. We had plan A, plan B and plan C mapped out with specific actions to take if certain scenarios were to play out. He stayed out way past his bedtime answering all my questions (over and over). Fortunately, plan A worked like a charm and I had 3 solid offers above asking price within a day of listing the home! Talk about a huge stress relief. And the other agents I interviewed wanted to list my home at a much lower starting price - that could've cost me big time. Creighton definitely knew the market, the timing, the comparables and what my home was worth and wasn't afraid to go after it. . Creighton continued to go above and beyond for the rest of the transaction. I was moving out of state and trying to coordinate inspections, repairs, house hunting, packing, etc and Creighton's use of technology and the complete trust I have in him allowed the process to move forward efficiently whether I was at work, on the road or in a different timezone. He even represented me at the closing without a hitch which saved me a ton of hassle since I had already moved out of state. Emails, phone calls, text messages, online meetings, digital signatures: Creighton employed every tool possible to make it as easy and convenient as it could be. I was impressed when he hooked up his laptop to my AppleTV and we looked at all the information available to us from my couch. Way more efficient than looking at static printouts. . By the way, I had the most insane buyers possible who couldn't have made the sale more difficult and Creighton shielded me from all of that stress. I'm so appreciative that he didn't simply pass that on to me for me to deal with. He leveraged his experience well and when he needed advice from the larger Maloof team he sought it out without hesitation. . When I was interviewing Creighton I told him that I would not give him a perfect review online because I feel that everyone has room for improvement. Now as I'm writing this after it's all said and done, I'm having a really tough time following through on my promise! I'm giving him 4 out of 5 stars for "Process Expertise" because that is something that comes with time as different situations present themselves. I'm sure he learned a ton from my sale that he will employ in the future. But 24 out of 25 stars is still pretty darn exceptional. . A job very well done Creighton.
