02/28/2013 - user9302154Listed, but didn't sell my Single Family home in 2011 in Benson, AZ.
Our home was listed with Curt Stinson Realty for almost a year. They never once showed our home and never even put a sign up in our yard. We actually spoke with a couple of people that were being shown our home by other realtors who told us they had to call someone else to come see our home because Curt Stinson Realty would not return their calls. We asked to be removed from their listings and a year later we couldn't relist because they had put a hold on our listing. If you live in the Tucson area, they may work better for you. Apparently, we were too far away for them to want to bother with us.…More Less

Our deepest apologies that we were not able to sell your home in Benson, nor drive the distance to show it. perhaps in hindsight finding a local agent would have best served your needs It is not standard practice to list any of our homes more than a year. Again, our apologies for your dissatisfaction -- we wish you well -- The Stinson team

02/28/2013 - user2250049Listed, but didn't sell my Single Family home in 2011 in Rita Ranch, Tucson, AZ.
Mister Stinson came out to our house personally. He told us he would have no problem short selling our house. We had bought in 2006 and were very underwater, but when we contacted him we were current on our mortgage. He told us to miss a payment and that would speed things along. He had eight months before our bank finally foreclosed. In that time he and his staff did very little to let us know what was going on. Anytime we called his offices it seemed like we were getting the runaround.
After getting the foreclosure postponed an extra month, we had an offer ready to close. They failed to get a second postponement and the home foreclosed.
I would never recommend him or anyone in his office to anyone.…More Less

Dear Sir or Madam,
Thank you for taking the time to post a review. We deeply regret that we were not able to obtain approval from the bank to accept the offer(s)s received on your home. Oftentimes, the homes are in such a poor financial state , that it is more advantageous for the lien holder(s) to take the property back rather than sell it for such a substantial loss. In addition, buyers may elect to cancel through the process.
We wish you great success in your future
Sincerely, the Stinson Team

04/15/2013 - user7745218We connected, but it did not work out. Looking in Rosemont Camp, AZ 85641
We are considering selling our newly built custom home. We have built and sold homes in the past and have had good success using a Realtor.
For a current market analysis, we contacted Curt Stinson, a Realtor who has other properties listed in our neighborhood,
Curt Stinson arrived for his appointment without a single comp of the neighborhood. Although he appeared unprepared, he attempted to impress us with his experience, expertise and knowledge of the real estate market He called himself “brutally honest” but came across as rude, negative and arrogant.
During our walk through he attempted to impress upon us that our recently built custom home had no more value than an older existing home or even a spec home. Not only were his remarks derogatory, inconsiderate and impersonal, but completely untrue and unprofessional.
Not only did he make a bad impression regarding our property but he likely violated the code of ethics. He disclosed the neighbor's private information (his listing) regarding their short sale and their financal situation . He even took credit for their taking his advice to stop making payments to get the lenders attention.
Ironically, with all of this, his verbal “estimate” of what the house should list for was not all that far from what we we considering. Had he been more professional, ethical and considerate, we may have been able to come to some reasonable listing agreement.
However, Curt Stinson clearly has no interest in his clients personally, their privacy or their feelings. We do not believe he has the appropriate people skills, or ethical beliefs, to handle either our real estate needs, or that of any other potential client.
There are many other qualified agents who understand their fiduciary responsibility to their clients.…More Less
