Your city should have a "Call Before You Dig" number I know that in NY there is a website where you fill out the form and it gets sent to all potential utility companies, who then come out and flag all of the lines at no charge.
I inquired about a house 10 days ago and was told it was no longer available. A few days after that itwas listed with a price reduction. Two days ago it was "just listed." Today when I called the number on the sign in front of the house I was told that it was sold! What gives?
Occassionally I see homes that were recently sold, and the sale price was $1! What exactly does this mean? If there are any out there, I'll take a couple!!!
