WHY DID I GET INTO REAL ESTATE?
I knew it was time to pursue my passion for real estate when I found myself looking at 100 homes for my in-laws ... and loving minute of it. I'll explain in a moment. First, I'd like to give you some background about me, and tell you why I'm the right person to help you buy or sell your house. I've had a strong interest in real estate in since high school. What high school? That's the famous St. Louis question. Answer: Lutheran South and I grew up in Afton. My career has taken me all over the country (over 62 cites) but I've lived in the St. Louis area my whole life. I graduated from Washington University with a B.A. in Finance, Human Resources and Management, along with a minor in German. Accenture recruited me out of college and I spent several years there as a business analyst, before being recruited to Anheuser Busch as a contract IT specialist, leading the quality assurance team. From there I was recruited to Temper-Pedic to be a regional sales trainer, promoted after one year, and led a team of 20 sales trainers spread out across the country. A few years ago, my entrepreneurial husband Mike, convinced me to join his marketing agency and lead all financial and operational aspects. Recently, our company was acquired by a larger agency, where my husband is now part of the executive team. A few years ago, Mike's parents decided to relocate to St. Louis from Buffalo, New York, to be closer to us and our two young children. To make that happen, I led the search. We looked at over 100 houses and I was really energized by the whole experience. And in the end, we found a great place for them. My diverse 12 year business career prior to becoming a Real Estate Agent has given me experience in sales, marketing, finance, operations and legal transactions. This experience, along with my professional style and passion for real estate all add up to a great experience for you in buying or selling a home.
