Dan is awesome to work with. He is highly responsive and very patient showing us everything I wanted to see. He alerted me to the newest houses the day they came on the market. He walked us through every step of finding our home and managed the negotiation process flawlessly.

Just adding another glowing review for Dan. This is a guy who really is in the perfect occupation for him. He takes the time to really find out what you are looking for and does not waste your time showing you house outside of the criteria. He also took the time to learn about us and our family which I think helps him find the perfect house for each person. I cannot say enough good about Dan, always on time, always answers emails/phone calls/ texts ASAP, always willing to work around schedules. He also really knows the area from schools to the best local contractors
We have used Daniel twice now and couldn't be more pleased with his work! He found us our first home and then sold it for us. He found us an apartment and will soon be finding us another home. He is a pleasure to work with. He gave us great feedback when it came to putting our house on the market and sold our home in a difficult market and close to our asking price. I would highly recommend him to people and I have recommend him to family and friends! If your looking for a real estate agent you should defiantly give him a call.
He knows the market,He knows how to talk to people about selling their homes.Dan is accessible , pleasant, honest and direct.
We had a few glitches but Dan helped us resolve them quickly.I emailed him a few times very early in the morning ,and to my surprise, he responded back within a few minutes.

Dan is very professional at all times. We bought a foreclosure, he knew the ins and outs of the whole process. Dan is always accessible whether by phone or email. I sent him an email at 9:45pm he wrote back by 10pm. Dan took care of everything from the bank to the lawyer, he was able to get a home inspector to the house on a Sunday morning. He was able to get a plumber, who was booked up, over to the house in one day. Dan always let us know exactly where we were in the process and gave us updates as soon as he got new information. I would recommend Dan to anyone buying a house.

As you read through user reviews about Dan Axtmann with so many similarily positive remarks, you may come to the not unreasonable conclusion that they are phony reviews submitted by people paid to write glowing reviews - shills.
I mean, nobody can please all of the people all of the time. Can they? Think about yourself, dear reader, as wonderful as I'm sure you are, certainly you've made a few enemies along the way. So how can it be that everybody says the same great stuff about Dan Axtmann? Where are the detractors, the buyers he has blown off, the seller who felt they were rushed into a bum deal?
I have formed a few hypotheses in searching for an explanation to this mystery.
Hypothesis 1: Statistical Probability.
Like the search for extraterrestrial life, out of a nearly infinite number of planets in the universe there is bound to be at least a few perfect real estate agents out there. Dan Axtmann just happens to work in Dutchess County.
Hypothesis 2: The Illusionist.
Dan Axtmann is not really patiently helping you find the property you've been looking for, he's only tricked your mind into believing that he has.
Hypothesis 3: Bigfoot.
Science denies his existence, but the legend endures and the showings continue to be scheduled. Like the Sasquatch, Dan Axtmann could be the veritable missing link between buyer and seller.
Hypothesis 4: SuperDan. Dan's home planet, Axtmann, was doomed to explode, but his birth-father had the foresight to send his child to Earth knowing that our yellow sun would give him incredible real estate abilities.
Whether any of these hypotheses are true, or if there is some other phenomena beyond human understanding, we may never know.
Or it may turn out that Dan Axtmann is just a great guy who truly loves too see his clients satisfied in their real estate ventures.

By far, Dan's professionalism can not be matched. His attention to detail and corresponding skills make arranging a hectic situation seem effortless. Dan will bend over backwards to accommodate you. Completely satisfied.
It was a pleasure to have Dan as our real estate agent when selling our house this spring. At our initial meeting he prepared a portfolio of information for us which included comparable home sales in the area and various marketing strategies to promote the sale of our home, such as postcard mailings and hosting open houses. Dan valued our home fairly and advised us when to make price adjustments based on the housing market, time of year, and local competition. He forwarded reviews and feedback of house showings and open houses very quickly, and always returned emails and phone calls promptly. I met our buyer's agent a couple of times during this transaction, and both times he commented how much he enjoyed doing business with Dan because of his professionalism and commitment to his work, and hoped to work with him again in the future. I have already recommend Dan to a friend who is looking for a real estate agent, and highly recommend him to anyone looking to buy or sell a home in Dutchess County. He's a true professional and a pleasure to work with.
