If you want to purchase a home in Bernal Heights, Danielle should be your first choice. She knows the neighborhood as well as anyone, and she was committed to getting me the house I wanted. I saw emails from realtors who weren't familiar with the area and they had completely unrealistic estimates; if I'd listened to them I wouldn't have ended up with my house. We had no problems once we were in contract, everything went smoothly and we closed in 21 days, before a holiday. The other folks in her office I worked with (Sasha and Megan) were also great.

The decision to enter the San Francisco real estate market is not for the faint of heart. Having moved from DC, often also referenced as one of the country's hottest markets, I felt like I was adequately prepared to take on the scene by myself. Boy was I wrong. Enter Danielle Lazier and her partner, Debbie Rutledge. I simply cannot say enough about Danielle and Debbie. From our first meeting, Danielle was direct, knowledgable, and straight forward about everything that we should expect in the weeks and months to come of our search for our future home. SF Real estate is simply like nothing else, and through Danielle's guidance, we were able to have realistic expectations that not only protected us from disappointment in our inevitable brushes with failed house offers, but also kept us forward looking and motivated to keep going. With a deep knowledge of each of the neighborhoods and micromarkets, as well as her existing relationships with a vast network of listing agents, Danielle was able to give us solid advice on realistic offer price, advise on whether or not we would enjoy the neighborhood, and even future trends for value retention and resale. We were in great hands. Through her guidance, we were able to make an offer and win on a house that we very much look forward to making a long term home. thank you!

Sold a Condo home in 2015 for approximately $1.375M in Van Ness - Civic Center, San Francisco, CA.

Sasha and Danielle sold our condo. We had an amazing experience, selling above ask in under a month. The result was a record high sale in our building. They dominated every step of the process. Painting, staging, photography, open houses, negotiations, and closing. Each step along the way, they proved themselves. Each step, they connected us with experts who did amazing work. We felt confidence and trust in them throughout the entire process, and they delivered. I highly recommend Climb, and Sasha+Danielle in particular. I would not hesitate to partner with them again.

Sold a Single Family home in 2015 for approximately $1.525M in Bernal Heights, San Francisco, CA.

After 3 years of deliberating the daunting task of selling our home and searching for the next, we had the good fortune to find ourselves face to face with Danielle. Taking the time to come to our home, she engaged us in an honest and upfront conversation about our goals. We immediately came up with a detailed plan of action and outlined the steps we needed to take to accomplish each phase of the process. It took her less than an hour to help guide us through what we had been contemplating for years! I quickly realized Danielle was precisely the personality we needed accomplish the challenging task of selling and buying in the rapid paced, and frenzied market of San Francisco. From the start, we knew she had considerable knowledge of the area we were located, so we were confident we were in good hands for the sell of our home. However, what we quickly came to realize is she also has an incredibly team of professionals behind her as well. We were particularly impressed by Bella Casa’s designer Eva Holbrook and her staging that transformed the house and really highlighted its best features. In such a fast paced market, Danielle had the knowledge, confidence, and watchful eye to make adjustments to the list price up to the week before we listed. We were thrilled by the offers that came in and quickly closed escrow and gained the cash we needed to start our search for “the house” to raise our family and see our kids off to college. Even with all the unsettling stories we had heard about searching for a single family home in the city, we were not prepared for the shockingly low inventory, multiple competitive offers, and challenge of pinning down realistic comps in the rapidly changing market. This is where Danielle has the wisdom to team up Sasha Lupercio, an equally talented cohort whose gracious and respectful approach to working with other agents and expert knowledge in the field, complement Danielle. It’s clearly apparent that Danielle and Sasha are well known and respected among the close-knit community of SF realtors. It seemed not only did they personally know many of the listing agents, but also agents that where behind competing offers as well! When “the house” finally did appear on the market, Danielle and Sasha took quick action and came up with a price range they felt would make a very strong offer. Not really having many comps to work off, we really put them to the test of explaining exactly how they arrived at the number and why. They patiently gave us a detailed explanation and left us with the confidence of going in with a strong, yet reasonable offer. We ended up with the winning offer and pick up our keys tomorrow! I honestly can’t believe we were able to find a home that checks off so many items on the wish list! If it weren’t for Danielle, we would probably still be dreaming of what is now a reality!

Bought a Single Family home in 2014 for approximately $1.1M in Westwood Park, San Francisco, CA.

My husband and were referred to Danielle through our mortgage consultant (we got pre approved for a loan prior to the house hunting process). The initial meeting with her and her colleague Debbie Rutledge was an extremely informative and educational experience. They wholly listened to our "must haves/nice to haves" around home and neighborhood preferences, and more importantly, got to know us as a couple- an asset that tremendously helped make it a seamless process from beginning to end.

In fact, we had such a great experience with Danielle and Debbie I decided to list 8 reasons we recommend these two to anyone looking for a house in SF (whether you're a first time or seasoned home owner):

1. We closed within 3 weeks of placing our offer. Although my husband and I set the final offer price, we listened to their recommendations based on neighborhood comps. 2. Communication with this team is effective, efficient, and consistent. You're never left in the dark. 3. Danielle and Debbie are professional, friendly, and working for the home owners best interest. Although it can be a tense process, we had a lot of fun over the few weeks we worked with them. 4. Admittedly, I didn't even want to look at the listing for our current home because it didn't come with the attributes I was looking for. Debbie encouraged me to look at it nevertheless because she and Danielle had a hunch it was something we would very strongly consider- they were right! 5. Danielle and Debbie worked seamlessly with our our mortgage consultant, loan officer, and escrow officer- they orchestrated a lot of the communication and even made the effort to join us on signing day. 6. They are very accommodating. Granted, you have to act fast in this market but they were not willing to compromise when it comes to your home purchase. 7. There is an immense amount of trust that you want with your realtor, and we felt that we had built that after the first day of viewing homes. 8. Three weeks, first offer accepted, and first time homeowners in SF-- because of Danielle and Debbie.

Bought a Condo home in 2014 for approximately $825K in Diamond Heights, San Francisco, CA.
Primary point of contact: Debbie Rutledge

Danielle helped me in the process of finding a home. The whole experience form beginning to end was impeccable. No only Danielle masters the specifics of real state business in San Francisco (prices, neighbourhoods, etc), but she also understands the emotional and psychological components of buying/selling a home, which could play a big role sometimes. Her advices were always professional and very well informed and she always was available and willing to answer all questions. Besides that, Danielle recommended me professionals and services related to the transaction that proved to be excellent. In summary, I would recommend Danielle to any other person in the business without any hesitations.

Bought a Single Family home in 2014 for approximately $1.35M in Bernal Heights, San Francisco, CA.

Buying a house is no easy task in San Francisco (especially as first time homebuyers!) and once my husband and I were ready to take on the challenge, we knew that working with the right real estate agents would be a big part of our success. We can proudly say that in less than 2 months after the first weekend of working together we have the keys to our new home!

I actually found Danielle online through yelp reviews and also found her blog. I really liked the sensibility of her voice online as well as the apparent success rates with her other clients. Then of all the initial consultations with potential agents, Danielle was by far the most prepared! She brought detailed reports of current and recent sales on the specific neighborhood we were most interested in. We also appreciated how she explained her approach on partnering with Sasha and the value they brought to the process – acting as consultants and project managers, making it as easy as possible for us. I have to agree with others; they are SO well connected and you can tell other people in the industry love working with them. They sent us listings not officially on the market yet. We were serious about one property and they scheduled a walk-through with an architect and mold inspector prior to our offer (both on short notice) which totally helped us be more comfortable with the potential of the property. They referred us to lawyers (one property had a tenant) & insurance agents. They were in constant communication with the listing agents of properties that we had questions about. Even after we are all moved in, they have given us referrals on window replacement options and answered all of our silly new homeowner questions. They were prompt in responses and Sasha was especially awesome with texting. Sasha even dropped off my cell phone to my old place across the city after I left my phone in the backseat of her car! Docusign was also a bonus - it was so easy for my husband and I to complete paperwork especially if we were on different schedules.

During the all-important offer process – they structured very competitive offers and most importantly made us feel comfortable with them. IMO looking at recent comps is one thing but it’s hard to quantify your competition that lost on the last 10 houses and what they are willing to spend to get the next one. Gut feel is so important and Danielle and Sasha have it. We got our perfect home from our 2nd offer – and thinking about it now our current home is more move-in ready so everything happens for a reason!!

I looked at my initial email when I reached out and wrote “Being from the East Coast we value a sense of urgency, skillful negotiating, and arguably intangible experience to understand all the little nuances specific to the dynamics of a competitive market.” Danielle and Sasha totally exceeded all these expectations and then some. My husband at some point said “That’s it? That’s all we have to do???” - totally sums it up – crazy to think it’s too easy when you’re buying a house in San Francisco but with these two, it is.

Bought a home in 2014 in Mission, San Francisco, CA 94110.

Deciding to work with Danielle was probably one of the best decisions we made when we decided to purchase a house. We worked with her and Sasha, and they were a dream team (the one with Jordan). What I found refreshing about them was that they were straight talkers, no nonsense, not pushy, just interested in what you thought of places and adjusted accordingly. In a word, they were easy. Easy going, easy to work with and made the process for us, easy. 5 weekends of hunkering down and looking at places and sharing our thoughts with them, then 2 separate bids and we now have a place. I specifically remember asking them a few times, “um do I need to do anything else?”, nope, they had everything covered. And even with us having purchased our place, they still check up on us and see how we are doing and recommend different people for our housing needs. Who said buying a place in SF was tough? Probably ppl who aren’t working with Danielle and Sasha that’s who.

Bought a home in 2014 in Mission, San Francisco, CA 94110.

Needless to say, in this market, it is rather daunting to pursue the arduous task of house-hunting. My partner and I, first, briefly aligned with one of the "most successful/power agents" in San Francisco real estate. Luckily, we quickly learned that it was a waste of time (he devoted little time to finding out what we wanted, nor provided advice on how to get it). Then, came along Danielle Lazier (recommended by a colleague of mine). Thank God! Danielle "hit the grounding." I had a nice, long initial conversation with her. And, she clearly understood what we were looking for. Coincidentally (and luckily), we found the perfect home quickly. But, this is where her expertise came into play: I, unfortunately, aligned with a lousy mortgage broker. (Note: the agreement with the seller stated that I had to close in 25 days.) Needless to say, my broker ended up being completely incompetent and (no fault of my own) could not secure a loan. Along comes Danielle -- she advises me to get a back up loan, connects me with a superstar broker from Wells Fargo -- and I close within 15 days! Danielle made it happen. I have bought and sold many properties over the years: Danielle ranks high on the list as one of the best agents that I've worked with. I highly recommend Danielle and her team. (I'm typing this from my new home in San Francisco -- thanks to Danielle!)

Sold a Condo home in 2014 for approximately $825K in Central Waterfront - Dogpatch, San Francisco, CA.

We are glad we chose Danielle to be our agent to sell our condo/loft in San Francisco. She was very experienced and knowledgeable. She had specific ideas to increase our chance to sell quickly and at top dollar. The day after we moved out, the painter, then the stager were at work. Our place was ready for showing within a week. All through the process, she sent us updates. There wasn’t a day when we wondered what was happening. Any question we may have had was answered promptly, with humor, and to our satisfaction. The sale went quickly. We closed just over five weeks from our moving. The title company was efficient. We had our money the day after closing. Thank you, Danielle!

Sincerely, Todd and Sharon
