My husband and were referred to Danielle through our mortgage consultant (we got pre approved for a loan prior to the house hunting process). 4. Admittedly, I didn't even want to look at the listing for our current home because it didn't come with the attributes I was looking for. Debbie encouraged me to look at it nevertheless because she and Danielle had a hunch it was something we would very strongly consider- they were right!
5. Danielle and Debbie worked seamlessly with our our mortgage consultant, loan officer, and escrow officer- they orchestrated a lot of the communication and even made the effort to join us on signing day.
6. They are very accommodating. Granted, you have to act fast in this market but they were not willing to compromise when it comes to your home purchase.
7. There is an immense amount of trust that you want with your realtor, and we felt that we had built that after the first day of viewing homes.

Buying a house is no easy task in San Francisco (especially as first time homebuyers!) and once my husband and I were ready to take on the challenge, we knew that working with the right real estate agents would be a big part of our success. We can proudly say that in less than 2 months after the first weekend of working together we have the keys to our new home!
I actually found Danielle online through yelp reviews and also found her blog. I really liked the sensibility of her voice online as well as the apparent success rates with her other clients. Then of all the initial consultations with potential agents, Danielle was by far the most prepared! She brought detailed reports of current and recent sales on the specific neighborhood we were most interested in. We also appreciated how she explained her approach on partnering with Sasha and the value they brought to the process – acting as consultants and project managers, making it as easy as possible for us.
I have to agree with others; they are SO well connected and you can tell other people in the industry love working with them. They sent us listings not officially on the market yet. We were serious about one property and they scheduled a walk-through with an architect and mold inspector prior to our offer (both on short notice) which totally helped us be more comfortable with the potential of the property. They referred us to lawyers (one property had a tenant) & insurance agents. They were in constant communication with the listing agents of properties that we had questions about. Even after we are all moved in, they have given us referrals on window replacement options and answered all of our silly new homeowner questions. They were prompt in responses and Sasha was especially awesome with texting. Sasha even dropped off my cell phone to my old place across the city after I left my phone in the backseat of her car! Docusign was also a bonus - it was so easy for my husband and I to complete paperwork especially if we were on different schedules.
During the all-important offer process – they structured very competitive offers and most importantly made us feel comfortable with them. IMO looking at recent comps is one thing but it’s hard to quantify your competition that lost on the last 10 houses and what they are willing to spend to get the next one. Gut feel is so important and Danielle and Sasha have it. We got our perfect home from our 2nd offer – and thinking about it now our current home is more move-in ready so everything happens for a reason!!
I looked at my initial email when I reached out and wrote “Being from the East Coast we value a sense of urgency, skillful negotiating, and arguably intangible experience to understand all the little nuances specific to the dynamics of a competitive market.” Danielle and Sasha totally exceeded all these expectations and then some. My husband at some point said “That’s it? That’s all we have to do???” - totally sums it up – crazy to think it’s too easy when you’re buying a house in San Francisco but with these two, it is.

Deciding to work with Danielle was probably one of the best decisions we made when we decided to purchase a house. We worked with her and Sasha, and they were a dream team (the one with Jordan). What I found refreshing about them was that they were straight talkers, no nonsense, not pushy, just interested in what you thought of places and adjusted accordingly. In a word, they were easy. Easy going, easy to work with and made the process for us, easy. 5 weekends of hunkering down and looking at places and sharing our thoughts with them, then 2 separate bids and we now have a place. Needless to say, in this market, it is rather daunting to pursue the arduous task of house-hunting. My partner and I, first, briefly aligned with one of the "most successful/power agents" in San Francisco real estate. Luckily, we quickly learned that it was a waste of time (he devoted little time to finding out what we wanted, nor provided advice on how to get it).
Then, came along Danielle Lazier (recommended by a colleague of mine). Thank God!
Danielle "hit the grounding." I had a nice, long initial conversation with her. And, she clearly understood what we were looking for. Coincidentally (and luckily), we found the perfect home quickly.
But, this is where her expertise came into play: I, unfortunately, aligned with a lousy mortgage broker. (Note: the agreement with the seller stated that I had to close in 25 days.) Needless to say, my broker ended up being completely incompetent and (no fault of my own) could not secure a loan. Along comes Danielle -- she advises me to get a back up loan, connects me with a superstar broker from Wells Fargo -- and I close within 15 days! Danielle made it happen.

We'd been in touch with Danielle for several years and through our conversations and materials she sent us it was clear she was an expert on the Noe Valley market. With the market being so hot and our tenants moving out in November, we knew we had an opportunity to do well but were unsure of exactly how things would go considering we were listing mid-December.
The process was incredibly smooth. Danielle provided a clear list of recommendations to improve the property, was able to prioritize the work that was the most important and knew what would appeal to the SF buyer. She managed all of the work -- we only had to come in twice to look at the house before it was on the market , and since we live in Marin and have young kids, this was a huge bonus. She managed all the vendors, chose the finishes, and handled all issues that came up (as they always do). All of the work was wrapped up within 2-3 weeks and the house looked amazing. We did most of our work digitally, via email and text, which worked really well for us. Sold a Single Family home in 2013 for approximately $1.125M in Noe Valley, San Francisco, CA.
When we were selling our home I interviewed three different listing agents, all top of their game in Noe Valley. There were two things that really set Danielle apart - her volume of deals through the first half of the year was almost double that of the other top agents, and the way her properties showed (via MLS) was simply superior to the competition.
Turns out I made the right decision. We posted our condo on MLS Thursday night with a "pictured to come". By Friday morning (before the pictures were actually posted and two days BEFORE our first open house) we had an offer 23% over asking price. The buyer's agent knew that Danielle had a huge network and would drive significant traffic and multiple offers, so he accurately advised his clients that they would need to come with an exceptional offer.
