Bought a Single Family home in 2014 for approximately $1.1M in Westwood Park, San Francisco, CA.
My husband and were referred to Danielle through our mortgage consultant (we got pre approved for a loan prior to the house hunting process). The initial meeting with her and her colleague Debbie Rutledge was an extremely informative and educational experience. They wholly listened to our "must haves/nice to haves" around home and neighborhood preferences, and more importantly, got to know us as a couple- an asset that tremendously helped make it a seamless process from beginning to end.
In fact, we had such a great experience with Danielle and Debbie I decided to list 8 reasons we recommend these two to anyone looking for a house in SF (whether you're a first time or seasoned home owner):
1. We closed within 3 weeks of placing our offer. Although my husband and I set the final offer price, we listened to their recommendations based on neighborhood comps.
2. Communication with this team is effective, efficient, and consistent. You're never left in the dark.
3. Danielle and Debbie are professional, friendly, and working for the home owners best interest. Although it can be a tense process, we had a lot of fun over the few weeks we worked with them.
4. Admittedly, I didn't even want to look at the listing for our current home because it didn't come with the attributes I was looking for. Debbie encouraged me to look at it nevertheless because she and Danielle had a hunch it was something we would very strongly consider- they were right!
5. Danielle and Debbie worked seamlessly with our our mortgage consultant, loan officer, and escrow officer- they orchestrated a lot of the communication and even made the effort to join us on signing day.
6. They are very accommodating. Granted, you have to act fast in this market but they were not willing to compromise when it comes to your home purchase.
7. There is an immense amount of trust that you want with your realtor, and we felt that we had built that after the first day of viewing homes.
8. Three weeks, first offer accepted, and first time homeowners in SF-- because of Danielle and Debbie.
Bought a Condo home in 2014 for approximately $825K in Diamond Heights, San Francisco, CA.
Primary point of contact: Debbie Rutledge
Danielle helped me in the process of finding a home. The whole experience form beginning to end was impeccable. No only Danielle masters the specifics of real state business in San Francisco (prices, neighbourhoods, etc), but she also understands the emotional and psychological components of buying/selling a home, which could play a big role sometimes. Her advices were always professional and very well informed and she always was available and willing to answer all questions. Besides that, Danielle recommended me professionals and services related to the transaction that proved to be excellent.
In summary, I would recommend Danielle to any other person in the business without any hesitations.
Bought a Single Family home in 2014 for approximately $1.35M in Bernal Heights, San Francisco, CA.
Buying a house is no easy task in San Francisco (especially as first time homebuyers!) and once my husband and I were ready to take on the challenge, we knew that working with the right real estate agents would be a big part of our success. We can proudly say that in less than 2 months after the first weekend of working together we have the keys to our new home!
I actually found Danielle online through yelp reviews and also found her blog. I really liked the sensibility of her voice online as well as the apparent success rates with her other clients. Then of all the initial consultations with potential agents, Danielle was by far the most prepared! She brought detailed reports of current and recent sales on the specific neighborhood we were most interested in. We also appreciated how she explained her approach on partnering with Sasha and the value they brought to the process – acting as consultants and project managers, making it as easy as possible for us.
I have to agree with others; they are SO well connected and you can tell other people in the industry love working with them. They sent us listings not officially on the market yet. We were serious about one property and they scheduled a walk-through with an architect and mold inspector prior to our offer (both on short notice) which totally helped us be more comfortable with the potential of the property. They referred us to lawyers (one property had a tenant) & insurance agents. They were in constant communication with the listing agents of properties that we had questions about. Even after we are all moved in, they have given us referrals on window replacement options and answered all of our silly new homeowner questions. They were prompt in responses and Sasha was especially awesome with texting. Sasha even dropped off my cell phone to my old place across the city after I left my phone in the backseat of her car! Docusign was also a bonus - it was so easy for my husband and I to complete paperwork especially if we were on different schedules.
During the all-important offer process – they structured very competitive offers and most importantly made us feel comfortable with them. IMO looking at recent comps is one thing but it’s hard to quantify your competition that lost on the last 10 houses and what they are willing to spend to get the next one. Gut feel is so important and Danielle and Sasha have it. We got our perfect home from our 2nd offer – and thinking about it now our current home is more move-in ready so everything happens for a reason!!
I looked at my initial email when I reached out and wrote “Being from the East Coast we value a sense of urgency, skillful negotiating, and arguably intangible experience to understand all the little nuances specific to the dynamics of a competitive market.” Danielle and Sasha totally exceeded all these expectations and then some. My husband at some point said “That’s it? That’s all we have to do???” - totally sums it up – crazy to think it’s too easy when you’re buying a house in San Francisco but with these two, it is.
Deciding to work with Danielle was probably one of the best decisions we made when we decided to purchase a house. We worked with her and Sasha, and they were a dream team (the one with Jordan). What I found refreshing about them was that they were straight talkers, no nonsense, not pushy, just interested in what you thought of places and adjusted accordingly. In a word, they were easy. Easy going, easy to work with and made the process for us, easy. 5 weekends of hunkering down and looking at places and sharing our thoughts with them, then 2 separate bids and we now have a place. I specifically remember asking them a few times, “um do I need to do anything else?”, nope, they had everything covered. And even with us having purchased our place, they still check up on us and see how we are doing and recommend different people for our housing needs. Who said buying a place in SF was tough? Probably ppl who aren’t working with Danielle and Sasha that’s who.
Needless to say, in this market, it is rather daunting to pursue the arduous task of house-hunting. My partner and I, first, briefly aligned with one of the "most successful/power agents" in San Francisco real estate. Luckily, we quickly learned that it was a waste of time (he devoted little time to finding out what we wanted, nor provided advice on how to get it).
Then, came along Danielle Lazier (recommended by a colleague of mine). Thank God!
Danielle "hit the grounding." I had a nice, long initial conversation with her. And, she clearly understood what we were looking for. Coincidentally (and luckily), we found the perfect home quickly.
But, this is where her expertise came into play: I, unfortunately, aligned with a lousy mortgage broker. (Note: the agreement with the seller stated that I had to close in 25 days.) Needless to say, my broker ended up being completely incompetent and (no fault of my own) could not secure a loan. Along comes Danielle -- she advises me to get a back up loan, connects me with a superstar broker from Wells Fargo -- and I close within 15 days! Danielle made it happen.
I have bought and sold many properties over the years: Danielle ranks high on the list as one of the best agents that I've worked with.
I highly recommend Danielle and her team.
(I'm typing this from my new home in San Francisco -- thanks to Danielle!)
Sold a Condo home in 2014 for approximately $825K in Central Waterfront - Dogpatch, San Francisco, CA.
We are glad we chose Danielle to be our agent to sell our condo/loft in San Francisco. She was very experienced and knowledgeable. She had specific ideas to increase our chance to sell quickly and at top dollar. The day after we moved out, the painter, then the stager were at work. Our place was ready for showing within a week. All through the process, she sent us updates. There wasn’t a day when we wondered what was happening. Any question we may have had was answered promptly, with humor, and to our satisfaction. The sale went quickly. We closed just over five weeks from our moving. The title company was efficient. We had our money the day after closing. Thank you, Danielle!
Sold a Condo home in 2014 in South of Market, San Francisco, CA.
We recently decided to sell our home and then purchase a new home, both in San Francisco. Based on our online research we discovered Danielle Lazier. At our initial meeting and throughout the selling and purchasing process we were extremely impressed with Danielle and her team's professionalism, market knowledge, timing, and general approach. Danielle was also very patient and always available to field our questions throughout the entire process. We give Danielle Lazier our strongest recommendation!
Bought a Multi Family home in 2014 for approximately $1.475M in Inner Richmond, San Francisco, CA.
My wife and I were looking for a multi-unit property in San Francisco. We shopped around and interviewed several real estate agents. We decided on Danielle Lazier based on reviews, recommendations, and talking to her and her team. Shopping for real estate in San Francisco can be very difficult, and the right agent really makes a big difference in your success.
We really liked how plugged-in Danielle was, as the technology made the entire process so much easier for us. We appreciated how quickly she responded to inquiries. During the search, we were provided with an account to access the listings online which provided much more information than the other free sites.
Danielle gives you sound advice when placing a bid. She sets proper expectations regarding what you should expect. The DocuSign service that they used allowed us to sign documents online rather than having to go to an office in person. Her experience allowed us to maximize a large credit we got towards closing.
Although the search process took a long time (due to lack of inventory), once we found a candidate and made a bid, we were extremely happy with the process and results. Danielle did a wonderful job guiding us through the entire process. After closing, Danielle continued to provide advice regarding maintenance as well as sharing with us her list of skilled contractors. My wife and I are now proud owners of a beautiful building in San Francisco because of Danielle.
If you need help in Real Estate, I can't think of a more professional, knowledgeable, and capable realtor than Danielle Lazier. Thank you Danielle!
Sold a Single Family home in 2013 for approximately $1.35M in Noe Valley, San Francisco, CA.
We'd been in touch with Danielle for several years and through our conversations and materials she sent us it was clear she was an expert on the Noe Valley market. With the market being so hot and our tenants moving out in November, we knew we had an opportunity to do well but were unsure of exactly how things would go considering we were listing mid-December.
The process was incredibly smooth. Danielle provided a clear list of recommendations to improve the property, was able to prioritize the work that was the most important and knew what would appeal to the SF buyer. She managed all of the work -- we only had to come in twice to look at the house before it was on the market , and since we live in Marin and have young kids, this was a huge bonus. She managed all the vendors, chose the finishes, and handled all issues that came up (as they always do). All of the work was wrapped up within 2-3 weeks and the house looked amazing. We did most of our work digitally, via email and text, which worked really well for us. All of the paperwork was handled through DocuSign, which is an incredibly easy to use and efficient platform where you can review and sign electronically. Danielle showed the property a few times and we had an offer the day after the first public open. It exceeded our expectations and we were thrilled with the results. It closed within 3 weeks, also a very smooth experience.
Danielle is truly a pro. She knows the market, has a fantastic team behind her, is professional yet approachable, is respected by the real estate community and works diligently on her clients behalf. In fact, we didn't see half of the work she was actually doing -- she just made everything happen and didn't make it a burden on us at all. It is easy to trust her as she exudes confidence and it's clear she knows what she is doing. We couldn't have asked for a better experience or set of results. We would recommend her over and over again and truly thank her and the Climb team for all their time and effort.
Sold a Single Family home in 2013 for approximately $1.125M in Noe Valley, San Francisco, CA.
When we were selling our home I interviewed three different listing agents, all top of their game in Noe Valley. There were two things that really set Danielle apart - her volume of deals through the first half of the year was almost double that of the other top agents, and the way her properties showed (via MLS) was simply superior to the competition.
Turns out I made the right decision. We posted our condo on MLS Thursday night with a "pictured to come". By Friday morning (before the pictures were actually posted and two days BEFORE our first open house) we had an offer 23% over asking price. The buyer's agent knew that Danielle had a huge network and would drive significant traffic and multiple offers, so he accurately advised his clients that they would need to come with an exceptional offer.
While the staging, photos, and open houses would have dazzled I'm sure, ultimately success begets success which is why Danielle earns my five stars.
