Hi! There are 2 options for the closest beach. You can go to the bay beach - real calm and shallow - great for little kids - that is about 4 miles away. This is in Barnegat I think it is just called the Barnegat Bay town beach. It is located on Bayshore Drive. Or you can go to Long Beach Island - that has both bay and ocean beaches so you can choose the waves or the calm waters - whichever your in the mood for! That is 10 miles away there are several towns along the Island and they all have beaches along the entire length of the Island - you have Ship Bottom when you first come onto the Island, then there is Surf City to the left, Brant Beach to the right.
