Bought a Single Family home in 2012 in Baden, PA.
Darlene McCarrell is extremely knowlegeable, friendly and passionate about selling you a home. We were relocating from the west coast to to the Pittsburgh area. Darlene went out of her way to make sure we were as involved in this transaction as if we were her next door neighbor. She kept us informed about the market, e-mailed pictures, and called us on the phone with detailed descriptions of the property in which we were interested. When we were ready to buy , she steered us toward other excellent professionals who could help us with financing and insurance. Bought a Single Family home in 2010 for approximately $100K in Ambridge, PA.
Darlene listed my husband's house and within 2 weeks, he had a seller. When the seller offered, we realized we'd better start looking for a place to live, so we told Darlene what our needs and resources were and she was off. That was on Thursday.
Friday she emailed some spec sheets on some prospective houses and we we went out with her on Saturday to start looking. The third house we toured was THE one. We called her later that evening to say we'd like to make an offer. She came over on Sunday around noon and wrote the offer for us.
I had to get on a plane and go to WI right after we finished writing the oiffer. When my plane landed in Milwaukee, my phone started ringing. It was my husband telling me that our offer had been accepted!
Darlene found us a large listing of homes within our price range and in the area we wanted. She walked us through everything including our options for financing and different ways to write the offer. She was fantastic! I'd recommend her enthusiastically and without reservationher to anyone in the market for a home.…More Less

Sold a Townhouse home in 2011 in Coraopolis, PA.
Darlene was very easy to work with selling my mother's townhouse. She kept me informed even on her vacation. She would provide information when asked but would leave the decision making up to me, I appreciated that. I would definately recommend her and use her again should I need a broker.
