Darrell helped us find the home we're currently living in, but that was in
2011, when we bought while the housing market was down. We kept our old
home for nearly three years and watched as the market came back up. Our
youngest (adult) son was able to remain in the old place until he finally
married and we were able to refresh and stage the home for resale.
Unfortunately we ran out of summer. It went into fall before the house was ready to show. Darrell initially had a steady flow of potential buyers, but cold weather hit early in 2013 and stayed with us for a long time. The client base seemed to dry up. Darrell didn't let the dry spell or cold weather hinder his efforts. He made recommendations for where we needed to put our money and efforts into our home to benefit the sale.
He kept us posted on client responses and where "we" stood as his "customers", wanting to get the sale completed quickly. The home sold within five months. Maybe we were a bit disappointed in the timetable (from market to closing), but we were never disappointed in Darrell. Once he had the right buyer, he assisted through the whole sales and transfer process.
Though cold weather had kept us down and we (impatiently) waited for the sale, there was always encouraging news from Darrell. Regardless of who you may choose for a relator, I hope you can find someone with Darrell's exemplary qualities.
