Sold a Single Family home in 2014 for approximately $400K in Highland, Denver, CO.
Dave was a great asset in my sale. I have worked with a few realtors both in the sale and purchase of homes, and he came prepared. Most impressive he navigated a shaky buyer experience, and got us all to a successful outcome. I would, and have recommended Dave without hesitation.
Sold a Single Family home in 2014 for approximately $450K in West Highland, Denver, CO.
Dave helped us find out first house in 2006 and then sell it 7 years later. Recently (December 2014) he assisted us in finding and buying our second house. Dave is very knowledgeable, thorough and low pressure during the real estate process. Additionally he has connections with a large stable of service professionals able to provide anything from the inspection and sewer scope, to a locksmith, electrician and flooring professionals. I highly recommend Dave.
Sold a Single Family home in 2014 for approximately $325K in Hilltop, Denver, CO.
We used Dave for the sale of our Five points condo and the buy of our Mayfair home. He is very knowledgeable of the Denver market, especially the Five Points and Whittier neighborhoods. He had our one bedroom condo under contract in less than 20 days of putting it on the market and we only had to change the price once and not by much! We were very happy with how it all worked out. Dave is definitely a negotiation expert and that came in handy when he negotiated the buy of our house. We put in an offer on our house within hours of it going on the market. There were several offers at the same time (seller's market). Because of Dave's excellent negotiation strategies our offer was accepted by the seller without counter. Dave is a great realtor. He listens to what you want, and offers suggestions and ideas. He is not pushy, but is very patient. He is great at what he does and we will definitely refer him to others.
Sold a Single Family home in 2013 for approximately $300K in Whittier, Denver, CO.
Dave provided us with a very professional, knowledgeable and unique service. As sellers that had recently relocated, and extremely anxious going into the process from thousands of miles away, he stepped in and helped us with everything from providing us multiple options for communication and document signing to stopping by the house on a daily basis to check in on the heat during sub zero temperatures. Additionally, Dave is a very down to earth individual who I found surprisingly easy to relate to. A refreshing contrast to the stereotypical suit bearing, all the same agents one may experience. Not only does Dave know the neighborhood, he is a proud resident and I motion that he change his middle name to "Whittier, Cole and City Park." If you are looking for an agent that knows the neighborhood and provides a full professional service, choose Dave Dombrowski.
I would highly recommend Dave to anyone looking to purchase a home. As a self described 'uneducated' buyer, Dave walked me through the entire process, showed me things I should be looking for in a property and was an excellent sounding board. At no point in the process did I feel rushed by Dave, which was great. He offered advice when asked, but stayed as neutral as possible through the process. I really have no complaints about my dealing with Dave and would recommend him highly.
I cannot say enough positive things about Dave... He is thorough, respectful, and engaging. He listened to what I was looking for in a property and didn't attempt to steer me towards homes I would not be interested in. Dave anticipated my needs and was always willing to work to do whatever was necessary to ensure my home buying experience was a positive one. He answered my questions before I asked them, and took care of things behind the scenes that most realtors would never have taken the time to do. What's more, Dave is simply a really nice guy, and a true professional!
Bought a Single Family home in 2013 for approximately $300K in Clayton, Denver, CO.
Dave recently helped us buy our first house! He sent us the actual listing after he reviewed it and thought we would be interested. We saw it the next day and made an offer. He helped us throughout the entire process and was always responsive when we needed him. He was very knowledgeable about the market and different neighborhoods we were interested in. He helped us with all of the negotiations with the seller. He even helped as after we moved in. We found a small leak and he immediately called his plumber to have it fixed. I would definitely refer him to anyone looking to buy a new house.
We were very pleased with Dave. My wife and I looked at numerous houses over the course of a year or so and Dave was patient with us, helping us to finally find the house we wanted. His knowledge of the area is strong and he is always quick to respond to questions. Dave even helped us out with a repair issue after we had purchased our house, showing that he will go the extra mile to make sure customers are happy.
Bought a Single Family home in 2013 for approximately $375K in Whittier, Denver, CO.
I have been interested in buying a home for a couple of years now, and I finally decided to make the move and contact a real estate agent in January to begin looking at homes. I was interested in buying in the Capitol Hill or Whittier/Five Points neighborhood, and I saw in his reviews that he was very knowledgeable about these areas. I was highly impressed with his knowledge and I couldn't have been any happier with my experience with Dave. He was extremely friendly, a great negotiator, always available to answer my questions (even if I called him 5 times in the same day asking him to explain something) and he knew so much about the neighborhood and future plans for the neighborhood that I didn't know about. As a first time home buyer, I was very nervous about the process, but he made me feel extremely comfortable and explained everything in great detail. He asked me a lot of questions about what I was looking for in a home, and he seemed to genuinely care about finding something that was the right fit for me. He was very honest about his opinion on homes I looked at, which I really appreciated. All of the tips he gave me, such as creating a "needs and wants" list, were also really helpful in narrowing down what I was looking for.
After looking at a couple of houses and feeling discouraged that there wasn’t anything on the market that met my criteria, he encouraged me to go check out a house that he thought I would like. I had seen the house on zillow but had never been interested in looking at it. All I have to say is sometimes you can’t judge a house by the photos online, because I agreed to look at it and the minute I walked inside I knew that it was my dream home. I ended up putting an offer on the home a couple of days later.
Everything went very smoothly, and with his help I met all of my important deadlines under the contract. He put me in touch with an amazing lender who was also extremely helpful throughout the process, and he had a bunch of contacts for plumbers and inspection companies which made that part easy for me. Unfortunately some rather unexpected things happened on the seller’s end and they informed us that they wanted to put the home back on the market for more money after we were already under contract, which is something that none of us had even heard of happening before. I ended up getting into a two week battle with the other party, which was highly stressful and appeared to have no resolution. During that time Dave did a great job of being the mediator between both parties and keeping me calm enough to avoid doing anything drastic that could potentially hurt my case. I know that it must have been equally as stressful for him, so I must commend him for his moral support during that time and for his ability to remain so professional throughout the experience toward both me (who was a frantic mess) and the other party. In the end we were able to work something out with the seller and I avoided spending tons of money going to court and potentially losing the house if it went into foreclosure. Both parties were happy, and Dave was responsible for things working out in the end. I really owe it to him that I am in my dream home today!
I highly recommend Dave to anyone looking to purchase their first home, and I will be sure to recommend him to any of my friends interested in buying in the future. He also knows a lot about older Victorian homes and renovations, and I know that I will always be able to contact him if I have any questions or need a good contractor.
We were so fortunate to find such an outstanding realtor in Dave! We are first time home owners and Dave made the entire process a breeze. All of our questions were answered and he walked us through everything we could expect. His communication was excellent and he has a very rapid response to all emails. It really alleviated a lot of the stress and made home buying an enjoyable experience. We will recommend Dave to all of our friends. Thank you Dave for helping us find the perfect home!
