Sold a Single Family home in 2011 in East Ridge - Ptarmigan Park, Aurora, CO.Summary:
A lot of real estate agents can find you "a house" and fill out paper work. What makes the difference with Dave is he provides you the complete home buying package to help get you the right house. I worked with Dave for roughly a year trying to buy my first home. Dave helped me find the perfect house, find the right people to finance that house, complete the very difficult short sale process, buy the house, find the right people to help fix up the house, and ultimately ensure I got into and settled in my new house.
The above is what Dave did, it doesn't touch on who Dave is. Dave is a true caring professional who cares about finding you the right house. I know that because I heard him tell me "Yea I am not sure this is the right house for you" instead of trying to talk me into whatever house we were seeing. Dave consistently gave me great advise, kept my fiance and I level headed in those panicked moments, and was a delight to deal with.
Dave Ness will be my real estate agent form now on, I can't recommend him enough.
Below are some of the highlights of my home buying process:
-When I first started using Dave I sat down and talked with him for over an hour where he demonstrated his knowledge of real estate and the Denver market.
-Dave's home buying process was great for helping us get focused on exactly what we were looking for.
-My Fiance and I loved working with Daves computer software to help us sort through the Colorado real estate market and find houses we were excited about.
-The financing company Dave works with is the best in the business, it was a real privilege to work with the guys at Cherry Creek Mortgage.
-Dave consistently got me in touch with professionals that did a great job examining the properties and giving us an idea what we were dealing with. Especially because we were looking at short sales and forecloser homes which can have a lot of problems.
-Dave was great helping us make the decision to back out of our first home contract because it turned out to have some real problems. He was very supportive and optimistic about everything which really helped us bounce back for this initial disappointment.
-Our next venture was a short sale and Dave did a masterful job of helping us through that very difficult process. He not only handled the stops a long the way but didn't mislead us about what a tough process a short sale can be.
-Dave helped us negotiate a great price on the house (and saved us about 20,000). In the end we were able to get a wonderful home in Cherry Creek Schools.
-Dave then helped us find the right people to help repair the house. We couldn't be more pleased with the work everyone did.

You would think that buying a house while living on the other side of the country would be stressful, and well, you would be right. BUT, having Dave as our agent made all the difference. He kept us updated on everything, kept us on track with all our due dates, and made sure all our questions were answered.
