I grew up on Lewes Beach and graduated from Lewes High School before it became Cape Henlopen High School. I played varsity football and basketball and spent most summers sailing at the Lewes Yacht Club and surfing at Indian River Inlet. I joined the Navy Reserves during high school and attended Columbian Prep School in Washington DC before admission to the United States Naval Academy. I graduated from USNA in 1970 and shipped out to San Diego aboard the USS ORLECK (DD-886) a FRAM I Destroyer for deployment to Vietnam. We had 2 tours to Vietnam with 2missions while on patrol off the Coast of Vietnam; Gunfire Support and Pilot Rescue. The gunfire support was for the Marines and Army fighting the VC just south of the DMZ and the pilot rescue was for plane guard duty with the USS ENTERPRISE (CVN -65) while on station in the Gulf of Tonkin on Yankee Station. After the Navy, I attended San Diego State University and completed all course work for my MBA in Finance and started a company called Alternative Energy Resourses selling solar hot water heaters. I joined Prudential Securities in La Jolla in 1980 and worked as a commodity trader, stock broker and eventually an estate planner until 1990. My Real Estate career started in the slump of the early 90's as a Real Estate Broker in Rancho Santa Fe and was probably the worse timing in my life while the Stock Market scrambled to much higher ground the Real Esate market collapsed for 4 years. Eventually, I saw the light and moved back to my hometown in 1997 andwent to work at Jack Lingo Realtor as a Broker on January 1,1998. Since that time, I have been one of the top producers in the company and now have a team of 3 including 2 licensed agents and myself. I look forwar to hearing from you.
