Sold a Condo home in 2014 for approximately $550K in Old Town, San Diego, CA.
Denny Oh of Sotheby's Realty recently helped me sell my condo in Old Town, San Diego as it was time to see what downtown living had to offer. Denny was very timely, professional, and made the sale of my condo run as smooth as possible. His superior knowledge about the San Diego real estate market made the pricing of my condo very accurate in a difficult neighborhood to justify value and establish comps. The administrative side required with the sale was very stream-lined which made for really efficient turnaround times towards closing quickly. I took care of most of the paperwork on my iphone on the go. Denny also did a great job answering my plethora of questions as us engineers like to ask a lot of questions.
On top of helping me sell my condo, Denny even helped me find new housing downtown, which made the transition extremely easy. I would recommend Denny Oh (sandiegoh.com) to anyone interested in buying or selling a residential property and look forward to using him in the purchase of my next property.
Denny helped sell my condo in downtown San Diego, East Village. I really enjoyed working with Denny. He is very knowledgeable in the area and patiently answered all of my questions, which I admit can get very detailed. Throughout the process, I did not feel pressured. Denny explained the pros/cons of decisions and offered creative solutions to concerns that I had, but left the decision to me, which I liked. He is very easy to work with; explains things clearly, let's me know what to expect, and makes himself available. In the end, the results were great; we were able to sell my unit before it even was listed in the MLS. I definitely recommend Denny to anyone looking for an agent. He is very professional.
I have worked with Denny for a few years. He successfully obtained for my San Diego condo high quality renters, paying substantial rents. When the time came to sell, Denny quickly made it happen at the price I sought. He always went the extra mile to cover all the bases and ensure all parties were satisfied. His level of responsiveness is second-to-none.
The fact that Denny lives downtown provides him the quick access and understanding of high-rise living; he subsequently translates that knowledge to the benefit of buyers and sellers, which is invaluable. His integrity and non-pressure style make for a wonderful real estate experience. You would not go wrong working with Denny for your San Diego real estate transactions.
I took Denny’s help in selling my home in San Diego. Found Denny’s name through the web and noted great reviews. His name also came up on top due to superb search engine positioning due to the articles he had written about the market. After I hired him, it turned out to be a totally different experience. He is great at marketing himself through web wizardry but very poor when it comes to service. Mine was a low value house on short sale. He moved on to other customers as soon as I had signed the contract and things were very slow after that. He knows who is calling based on the caller id and wouldn’t pick up my calls. His whole attitude changed after I signed the contract because he knew I was legally bound to go with him. I lost a lot of money because I had to make mortgage payments for several months till my home was sold. The short sale would have gone much quicker if he had followed up in a timely manner with my lender. Don’t walk into this trap! I am sure you can find someone who gives better service.

It's unfortunate that you're not happy with me, especially since you're not a real client. A) I've never listed anything in 92102. B) you can fire your realtor anytime you want C) the vast majority of sellers don't make mortgage payments when they're doing a short sale D) I hope you find something more rewarding than making up false reviews
Doesn´t provide any service after you are locked into the contract
I intended to take Denny´s help to buy a single family home in San Diego. We had moved in from out of state and were renting. He signed up as my agent. He found a property, but don´t be carried away by that. It was a short sale. After acceptance by seller, it went for bank approval. Once I was locked in with him, he just moved on to sell other properties, neither I nor the seller´s agent could get a hold of him for anything. He totally ignored my contract. I think it had to do with the price of my property. If the property was worth more than a million, he may have given good service I suppose but mine was only around $350,000. Ultimately I had to fire him and find a new realtor. In short, he can find a home for you, but once you are locked in, he moves on to the next one and doesn´t give you any service unless your house is worth more than a million.

I can honestly say I have no idea what you're referring to, or who you might be. I don't know of any transaction that I was "fired" from, nor have I ever not been available for my clients or other agents.
The majority of the properties I sell are below $500K and price point has never had any impact on my level of service. Hopefully things worked out for you though.
Denny worked with us for an extended period of time to find the perfect apartment. He is extremely knowledgeable, patient and responsible. He was extremely helpful when reviewing rental agreements, addendums and add-ons to the lease.
Denny Oh is a professional on all levels. His expertise and knowledge greatly assisted in the renting process from beginning to end. Denny's quick response got my roommate and I into the unit fast. His schedule is very busy but he responds almost instantly via email or phone and, if required, is able to schedule a an appointment within a timely manner. Denny's service was transparent, thorough, and greatly appreciated.
The most important qualities of a realtor to me are honesty and integrity. Denny exemplifies these qualities in spades! We had a very unique situation as a buyer whereby the owner of the property became incapacitated during the process. Denny handled the situation extremely well for both parties so that the elderly gentleman received what was fair and was able to maintain his dignity and we were able to buy the property in a reasonable period of time. I believe Denny is an outstanding person and a real professional whom I can recommend without hesitation.
We've worked with Denny for over a year now on several real estate deals. Denny has an excellent knowledge of the downtown market and I would definitely recommend you talk to him if you're considering a property in the city. Denny is extremely knowledgeable about the market and can find unique buying opportunities that fit your needs. Whether it's a traditional, short-sale or foreclosure opportunity Denny can put the deal in perspective and he won't recommend something that he does not think offers good value. Denny went out of his way to make our transaction smooth and we continue to work with him as we explore more downtown opportunities.
Bought a Condo home in 2008 for approximately $525K in Carmel Valley, San Diego, CA.
My husband and I worked with Denny five years ago for the purchase of a town home in Carmel Valley. We were immediately impressed by his professionalism, expertise, and the promptness with which he replied to all of our correspondences. He really took the time to build a relationship with us, understood what we were looking for, showed initiative and drive, helped us through our purchase, and he still checks in with us - 5 years later. A truly superb realtor and a wonderful person and we would not hesitate to recommend him to anybody.
