He alleges it will do nothing to help the economy and it's all because Obama tried to "transcend the partisan divide." Ooh, this is not good, coming from a Nobel Prize winner.http://www.nytimes.com/2009/02/09/opinion/09krugman.html?_r=1&em
Allegedly, the Fed and Treasury will commit $50 billion to reduce mortgage payments and establish loan modification guidelines. Firms that receive federal aid will have to commit to participate in foreclosure mitigation plans.
Ken: I included a link lower in this thread about the actual details of the proposal. But, Here it is again. The details of the tax credit begin on the second page.
Hi millsjay: the green "up" arrows on charts and data about Zestimates or home values means it increased in value. The red "down" arrows means it lost value. If you're talking about the little "houses" that appear on home details pages, they mean: red = for sale by agent or owner; blue = Make Me Move homes and yellow = Recently Sold homes.
yes, it's a pipe from the outside that comes into the basement. he didn't cover it. He's using a hair drying and it seems to be thawing. Thanks everyone!
I did lengthen the chain, but it didn't seem to help. The flapper is upright and just waits until all the water is released and then it closes. Maybe I need to really shorten it?Anyway, I have a 1.6 liter toilet, but went ahead and dropped a brick into the back of the tank to help take up space and conserve water. This weekend, I'll monkey with the float and the chain length to see if I can fix it and make it "normal."Thanks for taking the time to answer my question. Both of these answers are both very useful -- thank you.
Before replacing my old toilet guts, I observed the holding tank would only empty halfway when flushing the toilet. I just replaced the toilet guts due to malfunctioning float unit. But now, the entire water supply in the holding tank empties per flush. That's a lot of water. I notice the flapper doesn't drop down as quickly as the old flapper. What would be the cause? Is the chain too long? Too short? Any advice is appreciated.
