I can't express how happy my husband and I are that we met Don Mahar. He found us our dream home! Don was exemplary in listening to what our desires were and locating properties that fit our needs. We are very particular buyers and Don was so patient as we requested to look at a "lot" of properties covering a wide area. He has incredible expertise and a deep knowledge about the entire real estate buying/selling process. He knows the geographic region like the back of his hand, including important aspects such as history, school district ratings, areas of known appreciation/depreciation, etc.
On top of everything else, Don has a strong knowledge base in construction/renovation issues and was able to provide vital feedback as such regarding various homes that we considered. When it came time to negotiate a price, Don went beyond the call of duty to get us the fairest price possible. We had a potential hang-up when the seller refused to include a built-in kitchen appliance. Don fought for us tooth and nail to get the appliance included, and when that failed he did a lot of extra legwork to get us a price concession.
