Real Estate Agent and Broker (24 years experience)
Bought a Single Family home in 2015 for approximately $150K in North Olmsted, OH.
Word of mouth is, indeed, the best way to get your name out. We were recommended to Ed Huck by a daughter and the entire experience was "professional". There was never a doubt that they actually represented "me". From touring potentials, through the bid and all the way through closing, Ed and the entire team kept me informed and "de-mystified" a process that can be stressful to the homebuyer. With the edhuck team, you're getting more than just somebody who will just drive you around. Your getting a team with specific expertise who will ease your concerns and get the job done

Sold a Single Family home in 2014 for approximately $175K in Bay Village, OH.
Primary point of contact: Mary Goodwin
We had the BEST experience with Ed's team. They most definately have your best interest in mind. They helped me to sell my mom's house and understood her need to move into something smaller and how emotional it was for her to leave a house she had raised her children in. They were very patient in explaining all the complicated details so that we felt comfortable with all decision being made. I would highly recommend this team to anyone!

Thanks for the kind words, Ann!
I really enjoyed working with your mom and your whole family. She is delightful and I am very fond of her and hope to see her in her new home soon!

The sales agent was very familiar with the neighborhood and condition of the aging housing stock. She was quick to respond to inquiries. This is a first-time investment property for us. She helped us with a sample lease to use. The team also has a great list of local contractors to help with home inspections, repairs, etc.
Sold a Single Family home in 2014 for approximately $175K in Berea, OH.
During the final days of closing our deal we were not kept up to speed. The buyer and his contractor were accessing our home without our prior knowledge or approval. The only we found out was we happened to stop by our home to do some work. This happened on more than one occasion.
During the open houses only once was an agent on time. One agent showed up with a competitors open house sign.
Multiple communication breakdowns with the team. We felt as though no one was looking out for our interests in the deal at all. It was like a big box store for home sales. Very impersonal service with templated e-mail communication.
I was given a contract to sign that had incorrect commission rates on it. It was a $5,000 error that we caught. We received a call from the buyers agent that the deal actually closed.
We are still having ongoing issues with the deal. Very disappointing experience.

Thank you for your feedback. We apologize for not exceeding your expectations. We have worked with you on other sales, and I assume that you learned from your past experiences with us that we strive to make this process as enjoyable and accurate as possible, and this is why you returned for this current sale. Clearly, this sale did not go as well, from your perspective. I would love to meet with you so we could discuss each of your concerns to clarify the misunderstandings or miscommunications which led to your dissatisfaction. I never want a client to feel dissatisfied after a sale has been completed. Your feedback will help us continue to improve our internal processes, if necessary, to ensure you and all of our clients continue to have positive experiences with the Ed Huck Team.

We worked with Mary. She was very kind, professional, and really worked with both the seller and my husband and I as first time buyers to make sure that everything was fair and maintained excellent communication.
